|

I'm noticing a lot of this behaviour now, lol.
Buy something from Amazon through a 3rd Party Seller, it's shit!, send it back, and leave a bad review, they then contact you offering a FREE replacement, in exchange for you removing said review, BINGO! (just up my street)
The end result is 'positive' reviews all round (4+ stars), which looks good for them, but not good for the prospective buyer of said item.
We end up looking at reviews that are magnificent, but in all reality, we are buying utter shit, as most of them have been bought off.
Good if you wish freebies, but bad all round, and NO!, I don't think it's right lol.
Discuss.

I knew a guy via Discord where companies would send him tons of free Chinese crap (earbuds, cameras etc. etc.) in exchange for specific steps he had to take when interacting with the product page on Amazon and leaving reviews. Ex. Wait this many days, leave a review with the following keywords, shit like that. This went on for probably around 6 months before Amazon got wise, removed all his reviews, and prohibited his account from reviewing/rating anything else.
Serves him right. People that manipulate that shit (both buyers and sellers) aren't doing anyone a favor but themselves. Fuck em.
Also, www.fakespot.com/analyzer - the algorithm isn't perfect, but it's pretty eye opening for some at a glance info.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Before buying shit on Amazon, watch a fucking review on utub. I mean, most china shit doesn't need it. If you are buying a shirt or a bowl or a can opener, you hardly need a review to figure out if it's OK or shit. But if buying something mechanical or electronic, well no shit sherlock, china crap = usually crap. But the beauty of utub is that almost all products have reviews. Sometimes they have different names than the one you are looking, but you can use reverse image search to find pages with the same image, then search for those product names on utub (it's the same product).

Interesting that Amazon also sell, as I noticed last night, 'Covid 19 I am Exempt' badges, and tags, and I always wondered how so many were wearing them? Now I know Only £3, with no checks in place, so just order and wear it, if you wish not to wear a face mask, simple
It's fuckin true!

Fuck caring, just spend £3 on a badge, you will be fine.
