If I remember correctly Disney put some rather hefty requirements on quality of the Star Wars Universe games they'd let EA (and now other publisher/developer combos) make. We'll see what happens. Jedi Fallen Order was a fine game (not great, not poor, a bit repetitive but also a hoot at times).

I would have enjoyed Fallen Order if I hadn't obsessively watched the show Shameless over the past few years. Seeing Ian as a main Jedi character just threw me way off. Goes from sucking dick to wielding a light saber.
They seem to know what they're doing, or at least from the few snippets of gameplay it doesn't look like there are malicious intents..for now. The new dismemberment tech looks nice, not sure about the revisited narrative and whatnot but it's early to tell.
Why not make Dead Space 4 instead of wasting time on lipsticking and combing an old game hair.

If you were writing for ign or maybe gameinformer or gamasutra absolutely.
If you were writing it in an essay for school or for actual work then they would laugh at you and probably fire/fail you.

Only since you asked about language... I would avoid using "lipsticking" since it's not commonly used as a term for applying lipstick (in fact, it sometimes has a much more vulgar meaning). Also, I think "an old game's hair" would be preferred to "old game hair". The first part of that sentence was flawless though.

Yeah, instead of "lipsticking", you should have used "polishing a turd" instead.
@M4trix The reason they are """rEmAsTeRiNg""" is because it is considerably less work. They take the existing assets, have some contractors """AI eNhAnCe" them, restore some old level that was scrapped for being too shitty and call it "nEvEr BeFoRe SeEn PaThS" , etc.
This is a generalization, of course, but even the most ambitious remasters, like the Resident Evil ones, are still a lot less and focused work than creating a new title from scratch, or worse, a new franchise from scratch. The art direction is already there, the story is already there, etc.
This is a remake and it follows the same basic plot. With that said: it's not a remaster, it's being built on the Frostbite engine with redesigned assets, characters and models. Just to clear that up.
