nope, i used twitch key drop that gave me beta acces without pre order, i aint wc3 refunded stupido
I really had fun watching noob gamers who only played like elder scrolls online and hold ur hand games sofar struggle with this game dieng over and over to lightning bosses like raganishu at the cain stones and the big bear in the forest guarding the tree stone map
they dont understand stamina , dont have the run key working so litterally walking everywere dead slow, dont understand to spam potions or any of the basic stats  , they have never ever in their life bought more then one potion at a time 
my prediction : nostalgia people will quit after their 50th baalrun of no good drops or 20th countess run of not getting the rune they need, noobs will quit after their 20th death to duriel
game will flop playerbase active users engagement wize longterm cause we all played this shit a thousand times over, and blizzard will all of a sudden announce old d2 bnet will shut down and everyone needs to buy this shit, cause kotick sure as hell wont pay for an employee n money to keep those old servers around not making him any bonus money
ill try on my igpu win10 laptop later, but in no rush, having a blast just watching noobies play and die sofar

tried it on my win10 ryzen 3500u , ran 15-25 fps , horrible performance for such shitty plane gfx , when d3 run at 60+ fps zzz
classic mode /g) ran 60 fps , capped fps ? , i never saw it go above 60 and didnt see a vsync ?
But seriously how do these retards not know there is a gpu scarcity and then release such an unoptimized junk roflol, they truly are delirious at blizzard, they have the biggest potato pc customer base almost in the world with wo rld of warcrack potatos en then they do this to those customers
i bet u this dx12 only bullshithas to do with it, dx11 would have run a ton smoother
no ingame runeword guide or cube crafting guide, no breakpoints, no monster log of how many i killed , laaaaazyyyy

Anyway, runs smooth as hell on my i7-6700, 16gb ram and a 3070... vsync on 75fps all the time..
Not boasting, just saying.

yes vega 8 , with 1080p = 20 fps in town everything low , 720p (50 percent pixel scale?) gets me 40 and actually feeks more nostalgic lol as everything is jaggy like in original
i can run world of tanks and d3 at 60 fps in medium , so its just shit optimized
ping was dreadfull btw , between 90-230ms ??

There are some areas with performance issues. I had no problems in Act 1, but in Act 2's Maggot Lair and some other area the game was a stuttering fest. However, the lag is the most prominent issue of this Beta for me at least.

I had one outright freeze, 2 server de-syncs, and one strange bug where pulling up the merchant interface in Act 1 would halve my FPS. Apart from that it was pretty solid.
Still, they need to add stuff like auto-inventory sort, 360 degree movement, and one button casting to the mouse and keyboard control scheme -all those features work with a controller already, but playing D2 on a controller is akin to the highest form of blasphemy imaginable.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

That's just idiotic this game looks like something from 10+ years ago it shouldn't be as demanding as cyberpunk 2077 with ray tracing on no matter what you say lol
Even if we consider similar games like wolcen or Lost Ark they look and perform way better.

Lemme ask something just to clarify things up (and clean up the trolling mess?)
1. Game runs great on actual gaming PCs (Let's say RYZEN 3700x, 2070 RTX, etc) or no matter how great it is, it has stutterings and other performance issues?
2.Will the game still force ya to login onto BNET and suffer from ping even if you play solo (like D3 did?)?..Couldn't they, dunno... Make an offline only installer for offline play or somehting like old times?
3. How would online work?.. Own server itself again?

There is singleplayer, you still need to login (launcher like all Blizzard games) and it's most likely locally hosted (tech alpha was locally).

I probably have a better PC than you boyo and the game performs poorly in certain areas for me. Also, this is a 2D game.
Given your knowledge in technical matters, I have a feeling you left the resolution scaling on the default value which is below 100. |
He's one of those who sits on the steam forums on games he likes and makes sure he posts in every tech help thread of bad performance "works fine for me" as if the thousands of varying computer hardware and setups couldn't possibly present bugs/performance issues to people.
