Btw, does anybody else remember Glaze3D designed by the Finnish company Bitboys Oy?
Many of us drooled over the performance claims, technical specs etc. which made every other current or next-gen GPU at the time obsolete before they were released. I tried to find a video with the history of the revolutionary Glaze3D vaporware GPU but couldn't find any.
They actually had the tech, they just couldn't get it into production for a variety of reasons and as time passed they had to drop their first generation of cards since NV and ATI had caught up with their original specs. Same thing with the second and lastly the third generation... they didn't have the economy and industry support to actually release commercial products. They only had prototype boards (I don't remember if they worked or not). Bitboys left the PC GPU war, sold the IP to ATI and focused on mobile graphics instead.
