Why would anyone go to cinema to se a Black Widow movie?
This looks like it belongs in the "straight to VOD" category.
Because MCU.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
But that character has nothing, she's just a boring Agent in a tight outfit. IMO.
And that's why I named "MCU" as the draw instead of the character. People have been flocking to watch any and all MCU stuff.

Why does anyone go to the cinema to watch an action movie?
Why does anyone go to the cinema to watch anything?
Better at home
Exactly! You can can lean/lay down on your sofa in your underwear and watch it without people coughing, other people rustling with their candy wrappers, throwing around crap and popcorn on the audience etc.
@Frant
YEP! last time I went was..2007 I think.
Not missed it one bit:
Spending an hour getting ready and getting everyone together, then 20 minutes to get there, spend 30 minutes buying $20 popcorn finding a seat that doesnt suck then waiting for it to start and watching ads..to watch a 90 minute movie.
50+ inch HDR 4k tvs are so cheap, and 'good enough' surround sound for a small living room a few hundred bucks in the cheap end. I dont see the pros of theaters anymore.
For this movie. It doesnt look inspiring to watch. Feels like 90 minutes of "I'd fuck her" for the only reason most people will watch it

I remember my last 2 theater experiences as well, Oct 2017 for Blade Runner 2049 and Feb 2020 for 1917. Both worth it and thankfully no one annoying was near me. But yeah, I only go if it's something that REALLY interests me which is rare. I like Denis Villeneuve but the actors in Dune have left me thoroughly cold (Timothee Chalalala and Zenderpaya as the leads... no thanks )
It really changes nothing. The new phase is planned for a couple of years in advance. Overall superheroes are cool until you realize they are boring especially Marvel ones.
They won't really die because they bring Marvel money, you will have alternative versions, resurrection or someone else will pick up the mantle. They can't really loose too.
But they always will have audience - kids or hardcore fans. So Marvel/Disney franchise is safe. They will watch how new trends, for example wokness - will affect their movies and will adjust accordingly.
It's just entertainment, no one forces anyone to watch it, really.
Saw it yesterday.
BW seems to be a character like Hulk. She needs another character to have a good movie.
The movie was not bad as an action movie but just meh on Marvel scale.
I'd like to see more of the other characters in next Marvel movies.
2:14 PM PT -- Disney just issued a blistering statement regarding the lawsuit, attacking ScarJo and saying the suit itself holds no weight.
The spokesperson says, "The lawsuit is especially sad and distressing in its callous disregard for the horrific and prolonged global effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Disney has fully complied with Ms. Johansson’s contract and furthermore, the release of Black Widow on Disney+ with Premier Access has significantly enhanced her ability to earn additional compensation on top of the $20M she has received to date.”
I liked her once. But that was a long time ago... After her "my character is sexualized" bs and now this "give me more money" crap...

Hey Colin, #quitthatbitch
So, she can't sue Disney over breach of contract, because...? She made enough money already?
Disney's statement, with how they play the Covid card, is absolutely shameless.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.
