8-9 months of no new content in an mmo asking 15 bucks a month lol, they really have no shame, and that after a delayed launch even so it would have been a full year of no content almost ...
and 9.1 is a shitshow with very little new content,a dead pn arrival d mega fail dungeon, will be full of bugs n rushed cause everyone fucked off to final fantasy so bliz is panic releasing it unfinished for sure

Despite never playing WoW myself, this really hit home. The exact same thing happened with Lineage 2, even its private servers - which all follow the same P2W formula the official servers use when the game used to be incredibly hardcore, and that difficulty and ruthlessness was very much at the heart of the experience. Donations, which pretty much became paid cheats, ruined entire communities of private servers back then ; and current official servers are a shadow of their former selves. But hey, at least it'll be profitable for a while until we successfully squeeze the money of these poor sobs !
There is a handful of very high quality servers left, but I can't remotely afford the time investment it requires any more. Still some of my very favourite gaming memories PvPing for hours, doing Castle Sieges, over-enchanting equipment and breaking shit you had spent days working upon..

Yea, I've had enough of this shit. Cancelled sub and uninstalled the game. Seems like a good portion of our guild did the same. Will keep an eye out to see what they end up doing and how they recover.

Well i do symphatize with their plight, but i just dont give a shit. They are grown people and can deal with this themselves. They cant realistically fire everyone though. It'll sour their image and give validation to the issues presented, maybe make the leadership look like culprits too. Not to mention they'd have no one left and hiring a new force who'd need training....

Has more to do with them partying up on coke instead of creating new content. 9.1 patch is kinda shit and 9.2 is nowhere in sight. So why pay for same old ass boring grind?
I'll probably resub once new expansion is out. Right now, SL is kinda shitty.

I'm happy to enjoy a game for what it is, regardless of whether it was made by Satan, by Hitler, by slaves in a concentration camp, or by the pope. A game deserves to be judged on its own, without any consideration of how it came to be.
(BTW, this idea lies at the center of "double-blind reviewing").

Its not as if it was made by blood and tears. Company has some issues likely confined to a set of individuals, thats it.
