They even stole some of the names from the movie (Rhodes, Logan etc.) while changing the gender of the original characters.

I guess I'm a bit protective over my fave zombie movie trilogy after seeing so many crap "sequels", "remakes" etc. that I become quite weary when they use the name as well as a few character names with no intention of actually making the show in the same vein (social commentary, the human condition etc. using zombies as a plot device).

Personally i prefer Fulci's Zombi 2 - the shark sequence never get old...amazing shit!
