Well going by the games section, you have pretty low standards.
On a more serious note: Haven't seen it yet.
I have to ask though, where is your: 'you guys' coming from? Just a few people rating it over here and most scores have fallen into 'mediocre' territory and not really disliking it.

Different kinds of crap.
I don't care who the director is. The film was just boring. The setting was refreshing compared to marvel's shit and the ending was good, but the writing was just meh...
McAvoy was great no doubt about that, but not the best at playing roles like this one ( characters suffering(or pretending) from a dissociative identity disorder).
Split was better.

Captain Marvel - 5.8/10
The movie was ok, mainly because it ties in nicely with the rest of MCU which I am marathoning lately to prepare for Endgame. Also the story was a bit better than expected.
The issue is that the movie, the character and her ass are equally flat. Brie Larson was a miscast if I ever saw one. Not because of her flat ass though, but because she has 0 charisma.
Spoiler: | They built upon her struggle beeing a woman, which is ok I guess, much has happened on that front since the 90ies, but they completely fail to give the character any other emotional or motivational ties, that would give us an opportunity for empathy.
Major: She's a woman. Woman struggle. She stand up. She strong.
Minor: She was manipulated. Thats dealt with in two minutes. (Remember when we were best friends etc.) It doesnt touch her, not really. She strong.
But it should have been the other way around. I mean the realisation of the manipulation could have led to some berserking on her side at least.
What about some family? What was that story about her father? There seems to be something to give her an innnver motivation. Yet we get almost 0 info.
Thats all. For the rest, she seems completely uninvolving. Like her ass.
Feminists cannot write female characters.
They dont treat women as human beeings! They are so hellbent on their femnist agenda that everything they touch becomes Onedimensional crap. Like her ass.

This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Spoiler: | Would you also imply that every well written female charachter was written by someone who is not a feminist? You do know that feminists are not a homogenous entity and that for many feminists, their feminist ideals are not the only thing important in their lifes. |

Spoiler: | Not necessarily. That may have been a bit too large. It depends on whether you write the character with feminism as your agenda or not. If you specifically chose to write female characters for the feminist cause you often end up with these one dimensional characters or plotlines. I‘m not saying there was/is no struggle specific to women and that it should be ignored. I‘m just saying that if you focus solely or almost solely on that you ignore human reality, reducing women to this one thing. In a way you perpetuate the very prejudice you want to expose. |

Yes, they did it with the movie and it was bland. I guess the way this issue is portrayed is unique to the current political climate in the US.

Its not Ghostbusters level trash. Its still a watchable Marvel movie and fits in the setting.

First Man - 10/10
Marvelous. Can't imagine what it was like to open that door and see the moon surface.
Kursk - 8/10
Historically accurate.
Robin Hood - 8/10
Interesting style, it's almost like the '300' movie with alternate 'history'.

Await Further Instructions - 4.5/10
Somehow I wasn't bored by it but overall it was utter bollocks, especially the instrucions made by the omnious power in overall resolution of the movie.
