My comment was rather: ok, but d2r is coming and this is SP only, so, why? ^^

Quote: | D2DX is a Glide-wrapper and mod that makes the classic Diablo II/LoD run well on modern PCs, while honoring the original look and feel of the game. Play in a window or in fullscreen, glitch-free, with or without enhancements like widescreen, true high framerate and anti-aliasing. |

I'll definitely give Resurrected a go when it arrives. I still love the original D2. If this has the same game play and atmosphere I'm a happy camper.

It looks great, stands up perfectly fine for 2021. Blizzard should have just improved this engine and made a proper Diablo 3 game 4-5 years out from LOD, what a missed opportnunity. Oh well i guess the talented dev team had moved on by this point in history therefore we got what we got.

so its 100% confirmed the people with classic d2, cant play together multiplayer with people in this fancy expensive skinjob right? even though its just a skin rendered on top of the old game using the same protocols n loot ? not gonna shell out 40 for some nostalgia , know the game inside out by now
what is this cross progresion they flaunting in the trailer as a feature?

I believe its a cross platform shared progression.
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D / MSI Gaming X Slim GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER / ASRock B650 PRO RS / Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 / G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 2x16GB DDR5-6000 CL30 / Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB / SeaSonic VERTEX GX-850 850W Gold / Lian Li LANCOOL 216

Being able to play Diablo 2 with a controller on my couch on my 65" 4k HDR TV is the reason I stayed alive till now.

IF you're playing it like that, you're not actually playing it. The game plays itself. The aggresive autoaim just automatically targets and switches between the closest enemy. You're not actually aiming, targeting, hitting anything. You're keeping the attack button pressed and the game plays itslef. The fetish of modern companies to release absolutely everything on consoles, wether it works or not leads to this type of stuff happening

No it's not. The game plays great with a controller.
Heck, I generally prefer hack and slash games with a controller tbh.

It "plays" great with a controller because its playing itself, as i've said. Whats great about that ? The game just teleporting your attacks to the closest target. You cant even chose properly which target to attack, its where the algoritm sticks to.

Right now we have 6 dwarf rabbits. We got 1 couple (bro and sis) last year and we had the male sterilised or so we thought... almost three months after the op the female gave birth to 4 little ones amd the male jumped her again before we realised what was going on and we separated then... anyway, another month later, we had another 4 babies...
