That trailer was weak as hell. What does it mean "from the creators of 'blank'"? My guess is that it's the suits, not the writers.
I have a feeling it will be like the Colbert Report when it comes to people "getting it". Regular people will see that it's taking the piss, while it will fly right over the heads of ultra-jingoistic muricans who unironically will go "whoop".
It's american history seen by jocks and not some subtle satire.
