Also this year will be Raiders of Justice with sweet Mads with the same premise and it looks 1000 times better.

wrath of man 4/10 starts of well, then all the time editing bullshit starts and retake after retake and such a dumb fracking ending ... , complete pointles flick with maybe 2-3 good scenes
its like everyone read only the beginning of the script and didnt bother reading the middle and end, or all these people didnt have the balls to tell now celeb GR that his script is borderline total loss, lazy , lowball effort crap

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It - 3.5/10
Nothing scary about the film at all. Even the second film which was nowhere near as creepy as the first had a few effective jump scares. This entry is devoid of absolutely any tension and feels more like an ineffective thriller rather than horror.
1 and 2 are still amazing.

I'd recommend the russian mystery/sci fi thriller Coma (2019). Surprisingly good effects and mind bending world building.

1408 (rewatch) - 4/10
This is the second time I watched this movie; the first time was way back in 2007/2008 when the movie was new and I had forgotten most of it. Such a waste of time. The events that took place in 1408 had no explanation, no reason, no point except for a few jump scares and a bit of "am I going mad?" moments.
After watching stuff like The Haunting of Hill House etc. this came off as cheap and boring.

It Comes at Night - 7/10
I was expecting one of those D-tier horror flicks featuring some cheap random wild beast or another Darth Maul from the Further, instead I got a depressing slow-paced atmospheric post-apocalyptic drama. Whoever named the movie was wearing a trollface mask whilst trying to graduate from the school of Subverted Expectations. It's nothing too remarkable, but there's a nice dose of tension in it and the direction is competent.
True Lies - 8/10
This rewatch was long overdue, a classic from the beloved Arnieverse that has everything: comedy, over-the-top action, decent intrigue, iconic scenes with Jamie Lee Curtis (ifyouknowwhatimean ) and the right amount of 90s cheese. You don't like it? You're fired!

A Quiet Place - 9/10
A Quiet Place Part 2 - 8/10
Rewatched the first movie as I went to the cinema for the first time since December 2019 this week for Part 2!
Although Part 2 was good, I think the first movie was slightly better in my opinion!
Both these movies end so abruptly though, which I don’t like but maybe that’s because Part 3 is on the way some time in the future, hopefully.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It - 4/10
Boring compared to part 1&2. You could tell that this wasn't directed by Wan.

Druk - life and feels/10
Not the perfect movie but relatable if you are old cunt. Well back to my Ballantines with cola and tears to reach that perfect 0.5 o/oo.

Infinite 5.5/10
Would have been a solid 8/10 if it didn't have that horrendous over the top sci-fi bs. The dialogue and story is great, they just had to make it entertaining.
Fuqua went waaaay over his head on this.
If they kept it realistic with the sci-fi bits but grounded, movie would have been epic. Matrix levels of epic. Q

Jakob's Wife - 6/10
Decent budget horror comedy movie. Although it gets pretty preachy woke at one point so be warned of this.
