They sort of force you to do the battle arena to level up. It didn't took me too long, but I didn't enjoy it. Didn't enjoy combat in this game at all.

Combat ain't so bad, but it doens't belong in yakuza. They could have made a spinoff title for this

All hail the Empress!! She may go crazy on me anytime Very Happy

Played for about 30 min and it runs very nice (Win7 here). Graphics are good but IIRC somehow Kiwami 2 had better visuals, performance is better here so I won't complain much Wink

Turn based combat seems like a nice change of pace from the same old Yakuza formula, it still feels engaging thanks to the small QTE for blocking and special attacks.

I think I'm gonna like this one more than Kiwamis and might even buy it somewhere in the future.

Sweet, I never cared enough about the Yakuza games to pay AAA money for them, but I'll definitely try it now.

Sweet, I only recently discovered these Yakuza games, so I've been on a Yakuza streak for the last few months. Good to know I have about another year of top gaming ahead of me Very Happy

Actually started with Yakuza 6, then did 0, Kiwami and just started with Kiwami 2.

So far Yakuza 0 was the most enjoyable (in particular Majima storyline was great, and I was glad I knew his origin story before playing Kiwami). But I can already tell Kiwami 2 is gonna be great as well.

0 and 5 are the best in the series for me, just make sure to space things out when you play because burn out can happen if you play them one after the other haha.

This, be very careful of the Yakuza burnout! Very Happy

0 is definitely the best in my opinion, I'm in the minority that enjoyed 3 very much as well. Some of the substories were amazing in 3.

Started my run in December, no burnout in sight yet Very Happy
Which is somewhat strange considering how repetitive things get. But the story (and substories) more than make up for that. Had the 'Be My Baby' one yesterday, girlfriend just looked at my screen when the manbabies started rolling over the floor Laughing

The zombie spin-off looks fun too Very Happy

Yeah, Dead Souls is fun to play, the story is surprisingly good!

The combat is a little bit repetetive and the PS3 controls are a bit clunky, but overall it's a fun experience that doesn't take itself seriously Very Happy

Anyway, this is GOG version with a few missing DLCs.

Quote:
Nobody released this after 2 days. Here is a no-DRM version from GOG.

When it comes to steam without denuvo, the other groups can release before the upcoming dlc.
