Screenshots: http://pspupdates.qj.net/2005/12/valkyrie-profile-lenneth-screenshot.html

I don't have much info on this, so feel free to post more and Ill update this post. This is as far as I know the first Square game to hit the PSP, it looks like it works using the loader too which is awsome news! We just need to wait for an english version or hope this one can be translated (or is multi language!).. yay!

Yeah, Not much information indeed.. All i have is this :

Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth
Publisher: Square Enix
Developer: Tri-Ace
Release Date: Mar 02, 2006 (JP)

Seem's like its japan only? , Don't expect an english version anytime soon.

I'll add this to the ever growing list Very Happy of working game's, But if you want to try it out then its a good idea to check for sound issue's since some new game's on MPH seem to be having that problem.

Testing it now and everything seems to work perfectly. Although it does appear to be in 99% Japanese Sad, including the voice acting! It looks to be one amazingly beautiful game though, the visuals are stunning.. although they're animated rather than 3d rendered.

I belive this is a PS2 port (japan only) so we might find some english translations already done and ready to be ported over to the PSP! We can only hope eh?

I love animated over 3d rendered, may not look as good, but I just love that style.Smile

And damn it's depressing not to know Japanese, hah.

Are you finding it hard to navigate the menus sYn?

I'm sure there have been a few translation's done for a few PSP game's already, For example winning eleven was translated to english :

Quote:
Most complete english translation of We9.

- All translated 100% including Formation.
- 100% English Players names in every team
- 100% Club names and National teams
- 100% of this:
Master League
Edit Mode
Match Mode and PK
Training
Cup Mode
League Mode
Option
- 90% of Nippon Challenge Mode (help pages mostly in jap)
- Real Stadium Names
- Included Text in TXS.

I don't know if the same thing could be done with this, But as you can see there have been translation's for other game's.

Some of those screens look exactly like Valkyrie Profile for PS1, I've only played a bit of it for PS1 (got bored quick). Is this supposed to be a port of the PS1 game? Or maybe an extended edition.

I think its a port, but with lots of extras. 2 games are being released based on the story, so Im not that sure.

The game is in Japanese, although the main menu is in english, so starting a game is fine, its after that that becomes an issue Razz
