Grim atmosphere, no handholding, clean HUD and no colorful game-y features, it certainly looks right up my alley on paper. Remains to be seen whether the full game will deliver like RE7 did, but I'm genuinely looking forward to this, hopefully the isowait won't be too long.
Honestly, I don't know who on earth thought making a fucking demo to be a timed event was a good idea. Even the in game time restriction is stupid. Just keep it like the good old days. Have a fixed area and we can just play that section infinitely.

Even more pointless with the PC demo as, much like the RE2 demo, people will just hack it to pieces anyway.
Wasn't the RE7 also time based? Or was there a demo only on consoles? Can't remember.
It was also time based, half an hour if I remember it right ; and it came out on Steam too, can't remember whether it was simultaneously launched on consoles too or there was some delay for us.

Resident Evil 7 had 3 demos, with the later two being updates to the first with even more content. Only the final update came to XB1 and PC and none of them were time based.
RE2make was the one that was promoted with a 30-minute 1-shot demo. The director and most developers didn't want to release a demo at all so that the game doesn't get spoiled but eventually became convinced by EP's Jun Takeuchi's idea of a 30-minute demo.

Pretty nice runs well and looks great as expected even on my old machine (4790k,1070 TI) only some frame drops when the bug lady attacks i hope they fix that for release looks ridiculous expensive.
Might actually buy it after it's out of course ARS$ 2.499 is a good price, ARS$ 2.987 for Deluxe (but since i'm cheap i will just unlock DLCs with creamapi if possible )
