I am struggling, with disappointment, through the frozen landscape, hoping that her majesty's land will provide a motivational boost regarding the pleasure to roam around in beautiful countrysides.
Translation for sinners:
Hope the game gets better later on.

I disagree.
And I believe it's perfectly fine to have different opinions, as this makes us, as humanity, push things forward.

For me it is better later on, then you get more varied shit to clear the map from and small motivation in form of village upgrades to push the game forward, which gives you even more varied shit to do.
The game sometimes does feel mediocre at best but it's still solid modern AC experience and gameplay wise it's the best so far (slightly more varied). The only thing that helds it back it's the formula itself which got got a bit stale after 2 previous installments.
I even like the setting a bit more than the Odyssey's becuase that one was too similar to the Origins. I never finished Odyssey becuase of that and that also helps me to enjoy tthis one a tad bit more as I'm not that tired of the said formula, which I can imagine can be very tiresome for some.

Hmm... 'varied shit to do'... That sounds mildly motivating. I wonder if my patience won't run dry before I'll get there, though.
The setting is above Odyssey, I agree, simply because that game had the same geography absolutely everywhere.
Origins' setting was fantastic - one of the best in series, for me - but it's gameplay was truly way too repetitive.

Oh, but I am already skipping things. POIs, content, framerates, games...

100%, you say?! I could not get past the ~40% completion mark. It was already too much of the same...
I do have a special place for Unity, though. Unfortunately, technical wise, that was (almost) a failure and this left a major and undeserved mark on a game that - for me - in theory, is the BEST in the series.

Well, to be honest it was prior the DLCs so I only finished the base game, still I enjoyed it very much even if it was really repetitive.
After 20h in Valhalla the numerous new activities really save the game for me and I'm liking it more and more as it opens up.
On the other hand I don't remember that any AC game with such bad writing, I mean sometimes it's ok but on occassions it's all over the place making little to no sense.

Not really, Intel is just sometimes faster than with AMD CPU's at specific games.

Some locations are more heavy then others on fps. Would it make to play at 140fps for example game more enjoyable? nope. You still get bored to the death soon or later.

Performance is slower on RTX 3080/3090 card because on AMD it have AMD SAM enabled.
This is not the case for Nvidia cards which had AMD SAM alternative just added in latest driver and not all manufactures have bios ready for their gfx cards to enable it.

Guru3D uses old benchmarks for new reviews. I recently checked a few of their reviews, and they do not retest games with newer patches nor same drivers. In fact, some benchmarks of some of their GPUs are more than a year old. Nevertheless, Valhalla does improves a lot on AMD with SAM (BAR) on.
I just posted my review of the RTX 3060 (a bit late, i know), but I did everything with the same version of Windows, games and drivers, and results differ a lot. Tested 11 games (out of 17 support BAR games) with and without BAR, but only with the 3060.
Still, there are benchmarks for 3070, 3080, 3090, 6800 and 6800 XT > https://www.pcmrace.com/2021/04/05/evga-geforce-rtx-3060-xc-black-gaming-review/

52 FPS @2k with a 3060 RTX... And that's the average number. Meaning FPS WILL drop below that.
AMD wise, things are not stellar there either, despite the small increase / difference in numbers.
Something must be off with the 'renderer'. Or something devouring like crazy resources. Even lowering all graphical settings to LOW, performance BARELY improves.

@Pey
I don't find the actual performance justified here. There is a lot of dodginess, jankyness and blurriness in this game compared to the clarity and cleanness of it's predecessors.
Valhalla looks almost average in some places. Even Origins and Unity have sharper textures and more detailed assets. This is a game that looks very common by 2020 standards - with some exceptions.
There is no groundbreaking visual feature that should so eat away resources. And if I had a 3060Ti / 3070 or 3090 and see it perform thusly with Valhalla, I'd be pretty disappointed (3060 is not worth it IMO, unless you are upgrading from a 970GTX and find it very cheap to buy - yeah right!).

I dunno, man... From the 'outside', that SS looks very good, indeed. But...
Once I am IN THE GAME, something's off with the world, 'sharpened' or not. It simply does not... interest me. I am not invested and motivated to pursue... much in the game.
I also may be 'suffering' from the but it's not RDR2 quality level & immersion syndrome...
