The moment I saw this being available I thought to myself: "Why would I want to watch a show about Falcon and the Winter Soldier, two uninteresting side characters I have no interest in..!?". And thus, this show is a big nope for me.

Let's hope not. It will be a bad move to turn a marvel show into pc shit. Sprinkling it in here and there is a ok. But focusing on it is how you push away your audience.

I thought you needed to be a super soldier to use it. Is that not the case? Or is the new guy a super soldier? How does the shield come back like a boomerang btw if you don't even throw it with superhuman strength?
I know I'm overthinking it, it's just Marvel magic, but this time it's ridiculous.

Maaaan... this shield discussion is really putting me off from even giving it a chance when it's time to binge 
While, yeah, it's superhero shit and sometimes trying to find logic in that is a bit pointless, in this case it seems that they're sort of "violating" the rules, IMO. At least from all the stuff that I've read from Cap all those years back (anything Marvel after they "blew up" their continuity is dogshit that I won't touch with a 100m pole).

Last episode sucked complete dick
Just when I thought it was really picking up.
It started out well continuing the dramatic events of last weeks episode and then just.. takes a nose dive like I probably haven't seen it since Game of Thrones figured it wants to "subvert expectations" and say fuck you to everything GRRM had written for them up to that point.
35 minutes or so of slow-mos and family feel good filler bullshit. But the worst of all was them, without actually putting any effort into it whatsoever, trying to repeat the word "black" often enough hoping to magically turn the episode (and show I guess) into a deep, critical and super woke take on what it means to be black, and what it means to try and be a black captain america.
Suddenly the show implies there only ever has been one reason for the Falcon not to pick up Captain's mantle - because you can't just be a black captain america.
And someshow trying to make it seem like the show has been conveying that message all along.
Sorry but all I've seen so far is some super soldier kids playing rebellion, a bunch of fight scenes and boring quest to fix some ship.. for black solidarity or something.
Basically a show trying to reclaim the glory of "the winter soldier" with a twist.. that twist being.. "hey.. black people don't have it easy, they're poor and have real problems - like broken fishing boats or whatever - also bucky is really sad"
Extremely pretentious and hypocritical. You can't expect anyone to have some deep apologetic empathy for the black experience because Anthony Mackie doesn't wanna be captain america because "america doesn't really want that". Why? Because at no point whatsoever did the show make an effort to convey that.
He literally gave the shield up before the show even begins.
God, give me back Wandavision over this poor attempt at being woke.

was ok show, meh villains but ok overall. it would have been much better if they explored more rogue captain america as that moment was great and unexpected.
the reason he didnt want to be captain america was stupid though, finale was wtf they rushed over winter soldier plot
