Zack Snyder's Justice League - 8.5/10

Completely different - the original was a mess, this is actually a good and epic movie now. For me the biggest improvement is Steppenwolf, the character and backstory are so much more fleshed out and he looks 1000x better than before.
It is not too long and very well paced too I think. Every character gets enough room and is important this time. Especially Cyborg.
Shame if it is really over now. No need to resurrect the whole Snyderverse long term but would have loved to see at least a conclusion to the Injustice (future) storyline. Maybe one final movie or a multi-part mini series.

They might make some comic or animated film. Live action would have to be another $300M to be a proper sequel.. ain't happening.

Minari - 8/10
Raw story about a Korean family trying to establish themselves in USA.

Never Rarely Sometimes Always - 8/10
Simple teen-gets-pregnant story which fills its meaning with the ominous vacuum it represents. And it's quite good at that.

One can't help but compared The Hobbit trilogy (which really didn't require three movies.. two would've been enough with less silliness) with the epic Lord of the Rings trilogy and they're simply not in the same class. There are still some great scenes in The Hobbit but they're overshadowed by unnecessary and not-so-funny comedy scenes.

The first one is fun, the sequel is terrible.

Snyder's League - it's a movie/10 (5/10)

Definitely better than the first abortion but still a standard 101 super hero movie like thousand others but with shit color filter on. At least now it made more sense than in Whedon's stillborn. Oh well moving on.

Carnosaur 2/10
1993 was a great year for movies. Jurrasic Park raised the bar with its amazing CGI and brought back Dinos to the quality movies.
The very same year they released Carnorsaur too... which unfortunatly did less good for the dinos. This movie was a total mess (I knew when I decided to watch it ofc). Really shitty actors, shitty story which was impossible to figure out.
The woman who was "the bad guy" in the movie gave birth to a dino and helped it out by ripping her belly apart with her long nails.
The main dino was for some reason living in a bunker with constant laser around it which made it look like it had a never ending raveparty. And the only way to get to it was through a culvert for some odd reason. Everyone acted as it was totally normal with dinos too lol.

Anyway, ive seen lots of B-movies from 50s up to 90s. Many of them are great fun to watch - this one however is not. Avoid.

Promising Young Woman - #allmenarepigs#metoo/10

It was only a matter of time before that topic became the protagonist of a full-fledged Hollyboo concept, and to be honest the premises were not exactly the most enticing ones. Fortunately in this case the obligatory boyswillbeboys(tm) virtual bashing is put in the context of a bizarre dark comedy-ish tone that's fairly well directed and acted with Carey Mulligan in 100% sociopath mode, making the film more tolerable than I thought. The over-the-top ambiguity of the whole thing works...kind of, despite the forced ending and the doses of intentional cringe. ~6,5/10
