What do you mean? You get those ore thingies for upgrades. I upgraded just parts of two sets though, it's completely useless in this (or any Ubi) game.

I upgraded many weapons and armors pieces, you can do it but it's a lot of grinding, seems way too much, i upgraded to mythical about 15 weapons and 2 armor sets(the Thor and Brigandine sets). Tungsten ingots is not that hard to find but still it's pretty rare, but the biggest grind to find is titanium since you need many of them to fully upgrade one weapon\armor piece, way too many and in the end it doesn't matter since you become so strong that the armor is just for cosmetics.

First expansion releases April 29th.
https://comicbook.com/gaming/news/assassins-creed-valhalla-druids-dlc-release-date-details/
Quote: | Ubisoft announced Assassin's Creed Valhalla's first major expansion, Wrath of the Druids, will be released on April 29th.
Players will be heading to Ireland to unravel the mysteries of an ancient and mysterious druidic cult while tracking them down and discovering their members. The new story content will focus on Gaelic myths and folklore, so you'll be fighting your way through haunted forests and dazzling landscapes while working to gain the influence of Gaelic Kings. |
May the NFOrce be with you always.

Noice.
When all the DLC expansions are released and cracled, *maybe* I'll give it a try.

Too much to do in this game that isn't worth it as it is. Including many of the main quests.
I wouldn't do that to myself.
Rush through main story and you'll have seen more than enough. More than you wish.
Unless you like 200 hours of doing the same stuff over and over again.
I have never taken this long to finish a AC game or any game for that matter.
The formula is just so overdone and imho between Origins, Odyssey and this - this is the most boring one. Even the setting.. who cares about early medieval England.
But again, it's also because we're basically having this game for the third time. But this time with the most uninteresting setting.
When I first heard Vikings I was like fuck yea. But then it's set in britain in one of the most boring eras with most of the characters, culture and lore you encounter not even being Viking?
Even the Assassin and Templar stuff barely making it into the game.
I got one word for this game. Needless.

Sounds like it meets all the golden requirements dictated by the UbiVision Governance and the Grand Jury of Outstanding Ubidesign. And to think that with a seamless online-only environment it could have had a shot at achieving the platinum award...maybe next time!

@Un_Forastero the only thing that continues plot wise from Origins and Odyssey is the real world story and characters, and it's mainly one character... So if you will like Valhalla you can always watch the plot of 2 previous games on YT, the real world plot i mean, expect from that and some very minor merchant that appeared on Origins aswell the vikings is self contained and should be no problem to understand.

Pretty much ok here. A bit stuttering from time to time and mild fps drop when entering new areas...but all in all, if say it's ok.

MEny thanks!
I'll translate your 'pretty much ok here' and 'no issues performance wise' as a confirmation for ultra graphics, 4k, ne'er going below 60 FPS performance.

Not much to complain about performance on my 1070, it runs fairly good on 1080p with all settings maxed out, holding 60FPS on most areas while dropping to 40's sometimes. Definitely seems that it runs better than Odyssey so far.
Although I've haven't reached England yet which might be more taxing compared to the initial area
