Ray fisher heard from his peeps working on the movie that joss and Geoff hated what zack daddy did with the characters so they lightened it up to fit a more mcu standard. A profitable standard.
Removing majority of cyborg story line cause who cares about cyborg. And he was upset. His character didn't matter at all in jossitice, but matters in snyder cut.
He also requested them to put in credits his barber. That he brought in and zack approved. A childhood barber. And they just said naaaaaah.
He also heard that they wanted to make the black people lighter because reasons. And some abuse from joss and Geoff and racially disparaging remarks.
This was his first legit acting gig and they cut out majority of his shit. So he wasn't happy. He only discovered all that last year ish. After already not liking josstice league and was one of the prime people saying there is a cut and zack filmed everything he needed. and went on the offensive. And in that time a lot of shit came out about joss not being an ally.
@StEFaN7 they (joss and Geoff) condensed snyders story to fit 2 hours. Reshooting/adding parts to fill the void they removed to keep the story going. At the end of the day you'll have pretty much same storyline like I said many posts before, only with more explanations. So supe comes back and isn't nice, shook scared and runs away to recover and figure shit out. And many other major points happen in snyders cut. Just getting there is a longer journey. Joss and Geoff shortened it.
They suck at fighting solo and eventually work together to win-ish. Blah blah blah.
So essentially wb has to give its blessing to att to do a snyderverse on hbomax. and they most likely won't want to. Even if there is a fanbase for it. But who knows. Att has the pull and can reach above wb to do it. But, it may be costly.

If movie starts at a and ends with z with a bunch of letters removed. Then another same movie comes out starts with a and ends with z but the other letters are filled in. Its the same movie. Just longer, with more filler.
I am looking forward to it. I enjoy snyders visuals just not his story telling. It needs refinement. Just how nolan needed refinement with action scenes when he filmed the first batman movie. Its not a sin to admit that snyder overwhelms his movies with story and sometimes it doesn't deliver. There's a reason why studio said his first rough cut was unwatchable. It wasn't for the unfinished vfx. There's a reason they brought in people to rewrite it and reshoot to make it make sense.
It's gonna be a gorgeous movie. But don't expect a masterpiece story wise. I'm hoping to be proved wrong. Snyder is a fantastic individual and he needs another dawn of the dead from the story perspective.

Here its like 30.
Then it goes into characters realizing superman wasn't a baddie. Some back story shit. Then introduction of the baddie from history lesson. Oh we gotta stop him. But how? We are mortal we need a God. Oh superman is God. Bring him back but how? Spend 30 minutes figuring it out and then bringing him back. Action moment. Superman runs off. Then come back when they fight the big bad without superman. Then he's back and they fight.

Joss and Geoff used his plot basis to restructure it and make it mcu friendly. But they still used his plot, discarded the meat and gave us bones. Its like reading a plot synopsis on Wikipedia. Thats what josstice league was. The beats and action set pieces are pretty much the same. Just at different points and expanded.
