Anyone else had this problem: Followed the CureROM instructions (and variations), the THAW.exe process starts, then it just quits back to Windows without so much as an error message. When just running the exe I get the old "A required security module can not be activated" (because it detects Daemon Tools probably). I have no CD/DVD plugged in. CureROM version: latest 1.3.1 Windows XP SP2 NVIDIA 6800 PCI-E I've tried the following possible fixes: daemon tools all emulations ON renamed daemon tools vendor name and id deny HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\Devicemap\ deny HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices\ sd4hide sr7stop AntiSecuROM With no luck... Any ideas?

You are lucky for me it just stays black have to restart my pc to get back to windows,tryed everithing from securom loader to deleting the movies ( any more ideas? ----------------------------------------------------------- Intel Pentium 4 2.0 GHZ 1280 DDR 400 GForce 4 TI 64 DDR

got the same problem here, it starts up but then goes back to desktop right away

i had the same problem when i followed the steps in the nfo. did the profile thing with curerom. dont do it. just use cureromLITE. enable it and start thaw (dont close cureromlite after you enable it, leave it alone because when you close it, it will disable emulation again). just follow this: 1.) mound cd1 with daemon-tools (i have no emulation at all enabled) 2.) start cureromLITE and enable emulation and minimize cureromLITE 3.) start thaw that did it for me. the profile thing just crashed thaw back to desktop as soon as i ran it... 1F U C4N R34D 7H1S, U R34LLY N33D 70 G37 L41D

still doesn't work here gonna try this on a friends pc tomorrow, if it works there then it is my shitty pc.

Where can i get cureromLITE? google is not my friend today
