Having all the installments except Borderlands 3, does this game provide a good story? Never played any of these, got them in bundles with DLCs and mumbo-jumbo. I'm asking because if there's a movie in the works... the story must be good, amirite?

Kids played the game.
It takes a quick trend search to see there is hype for borderlands content.
Kids say pleeeeeasssse daddy make a borderlands movie pleeeeaaaasssseeee daddie.
Daddie looks at Google and see oooo this could make me a new boat and potentially a new mansion with a franchise. So they sit down on Xbox series x and play borderlands, they don't get it, but see their Kids loving it. They see millions of kids loving it. So they make it.
It bombs. Franchise cancelled. Boat sale fails.
Borderlands animated series announced for Netflix.

Could be the usual deal where they can't choose every movie they want to be in. Wasnt World War Z something like that for Brad Pitt?
