Always enjoyed the trilogy Always hated Jar jar though
There's only 1 trilogy man
ROFL
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
the guy who played jarjar had such high hopes for his career when he got picked for a role, little did he knew what they had in store for him, he said in some interview he considered offing himself after reading all the reviews
Contained movie, it almost happens in one set piece thanks to its play origins. Kudos for Chadwick Boseman's acting, guy was a beast (no pun intended).
Most modern Russian films and shows suck balls. However, this is not the case here. Great story and acting, nice cinematography.
If you find English subs (or English subbed official release),watch it, it's worth it.
Thanks, got the Getty rls with opensubtitles subs. Will watch soon.
I was looking for this show and saw these subs, but also saw on reddit that the person that uploaded them used google translate with manual edits. When you watch would you mind commenting on the quality of the subs?
So, I've watched a few minutes of the first episode and subs seemed OKeish (considering their origin)
Then I checked out ep07, specifically, a pretty ambiguous dialogue between the shaman and Oleg Kostin, and it was google translate in all its glory
There is another problem here. The shaman himself doesn't speak Russian that good, which makes it harder for automatic tools to translate what he is saying.
Subs:
Quote:
-So what? Is there no salvation?
- Is.
- If that's what the perfume is for, pay someone else
Now here is what was actually said (I'm mostly talking about the last sentence):
Quote:
- So, what, no way to save yourself?
- It is possible.
- If someone else pays the price the spirits want.
After that it kinda gets better.
In short, I suppose it's more or less watchable as with most google translated subs, but some parts most likely won't make much sense although you could probably guess what the characters wanted to say.. But, obviously, I can't be sure without watching the whole show again and having these subs turned on.
russians finally closed the case and said a avalanche happened and they all ran to some rocks for cover 50 meters away but due to poor visibility , they never made it back to their tents n gear, im guessing three where to slow and the avalanche grabbed em, the rest froze and the missing eyebals n tongues = wild animals going for the easiest extremities
Quite entertaining and Russell Crowe is pretty good (he really looks like John Goodman in this ), but the movie is also incredibly unbelievable
Took me a while to realize that the lead girl was the mother of the kid, I thought they were siblings or something.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

We're in 3rd episode and the subs are hit and miss. You can get the grasp of it, but as h0rnyfavn says there are some funny sentences and you need to keep context all the time. Extra effort. I'd say that if you're in a rush, watch it with these. Prolly best to wait tho.
My God, I could watch Blake all day and night, she is astounding, and this movie gets 2 points extra for that In saying that, this is not bad at all Jaws esq.
