I used lethal weapons all the time and people still survived somehow. Regina thanked me for keeping all the cyberpsychos alive, I'm not sure if you even can kill them?
Finished the game after 93 hours, doing all gigs etc.
You definitely can, and the rewards are bugged, keeping any enemy alive doesn't give you the NCPD reward for "wanted dead or alive", killing them however does.
A lot of missions don't require you to kill anyone and actually pay better if you don't.
Sure, most of the street cred gains will be via quest completion, not combat. I was just saying that the street cred you do get in combat is just for defeating an enemy, not contingent on killing them.
Then you're full of shit about your hours or did skip most content.
Define "full of shit".
I have completed all main missions and some of the side content: (Ones I remember:)
-Frigider rescue mission
-Whole Delamain Quest
-Tarrot card collection
-NCPD quests
-Gigs
-Judy side quests
-Zen master side quest
-Paying back debt to viktor
-Every claire racing quest with avenging her husband
-The first woman you rescued side quests.
-Shooting range side quest
-Jackie's funeral stuff
-6th street gang side quest (rooftop shit)
Just checked BTW: 99 quests are completed in the journal log, but I have played since so my time should be like 35-40.

You literally missed most of the major side quests in the game.
Johnny's chippin' in quest line with Rogue which itself leads to:
A whole long questline with his bandmates to reunite the band.
Two side missions with Rogue.
A fairly long investigative mission with the bandmate turned journalist (can't remember her name)
A new main mission option at the end.
Panam side missions:
Fun chain involving Panam and Saul with a lot of missions.
Also unlocks another main mission option at the end.
The mayoral candidate and wife questline:
Significant mission in itself, which leads to doing another long side quest for the couple. During the quest you meet River who has a long unrelated quest chain of his own.
River quest chain:
Series of missions to find a serial killer. River is also a romance option for a straight female V.
Complain about bugs or anything sure, but criticising the game length when you skipped most of the significant side content makes you look like an idiot.
How do you see how many quests you have completed? Did you count them ? lol.. I've played for 25 hours, reached level 25 when I decided to go for the quest with no return. Which I haven't completed since the boss I've ran into is bullshit.
@Vikerness There's a "complete" at the end of your journal

Oh yes those 1 off 15 min quests really took you a long time, paying off Viktor holy what a remarkable questline that was.
Keyword "some" by missing even major side content, that's "everything" in 30 hours for you?
Confirms what I thought, thanks for clarifying

Sorry, I totally forgot about the serial killer quest, I did that with that police guy.
Also my main complaint is that the main quest line is really short.
I really can't complain if I look like an idiot, so be it.
Lol at the missing major content bullshit. You missed taking dinner with River. Pickping up the salt, mixing in the soup, playing with his kids, going up the tower, drinking a few beers, finding your ex band members, having long chats. Boring as hell. This isn't witcher.
It's character building despite all those characters except Johnny can't touch worst written character in Hades

And what do all those quests actually contain, gameplay wise ? Nothing. Moving around through empty spaces to watch the next npc talk and talk. Then you move some more to watch another npc talk
The balancing is fucked up. Youre op realy early, that every piece of action is just boring, mundane shit. You notice every now and then some options to infiltrate or hack someplace. But why botter when a few shotgun shells do the job in 2 minutes so you can drive to the next npc that has verbal diareea.
This is a poor game gameplay and design wise. Its not about the bugs, they can fix all of them. It'll be the same boring, unbalanced shit
I'd like to know how many people defending this game paid for it verses ARRRRR
In my experience, people that shell out their hard earned money will more likely defend a broken game versus look at it objectively and admit it's faults.

I bought the Collector's Edition and a Steam copy. But I'm not defining myself by some purchases or confuse enjoyment with quality.

I didn't buy it and I'm disappointed by it. This is why piracy is great, because if I had trusted the marketing and pre-ordered/bought it before even trying it (why do people do this?) I'd feel straight out lied to and defrauded.
But I didn't lose money, the game isn't worthless there is a lot to enjoy when it's not falling apart by itself. It's just a very very different game from what was promised and I think complaints by customers are more than legitimate.

Actually, better question is who bought it and spent hundreds upgrading their system or made a whole new build for this thing....
Updated to 1.06, played for about 15 minutes, my car was floating, and I couldn't pick up 2 items.....
Nonsense, i bought many games and not for cheap and hated them, and wrote about it, Assassin's Creed Origins comes to mind, bought the gold edition for more then 50 bucks and tried it many times and still not like it, got Odyssey for free and had a blast for more then 150 hours (tho DLCs sucks).
You will only fool yourself by defending something you don't enjoy.
From what i read plenty of people enjoyed the game even with it's flaws, everyone fooling themselves?

IMO it has to be something else. Perhaps an emotional attachment or something. Maybe in real life some people couldn't get girls to touch their PP and so the game and characters mean more to them than it would someone who doesn't elevate them so highly. It has to be something. It doesn't make sense otherwise, not in the face of all of the evidence we have for how broken it is, for how many features were cut and how basic the systems are. These are universal sins for any game, and in this case it is unprecedented.
I have far fewer problems with the game than I do the bullshit artists pretending it's something that it's not. Or pontificating over what the game 'needs' despite what we were told it would have.

Anyway... I was waiting for videos like this. Great work and very thorough, it illustrates all of the smoke and mirrors, lies and bullshit perfectly.
There you go, 10-15 hours of playthrough. Even he mentions that.
