You disabled the minimap? With it on you can just watch them spazzing out in that.

I mean I can see some of those issues, but it seems as if your version is fucked beyond saving. I have seen a fair share of bugs too, but your videos are something else At this point I'd verify my downloaded files, reset everything to default settings and reinstall my drivers in disbelief that all these issues come from just the buggy game itself

From the sound of it with Cyberpunk, there were no dedicated testers. All the testing was done by the devs internally.
Sounds like their QA plan (with a third party company) fell through due to the 'rona.

The problem with that idea is you start applying that principle across the board and pretty soon you've stripped half the content out of the game. Racing exists for the sole purpose of content padding.

The racing quest had a pretty interesting story attached to it, just a shame you had to get through 3.5 (or 4, depending on your choices) boring races to experience it.

Does the newest Nvidia driver improve performance compared to the one released around release day?

It had no effect for me. |
It didn't have any fixes for cyberpunk.
Only thing you can do is, if you have an AMD processor, to do that hex fix.
I have a ryzen 3700x. The impact was massive, before the fix I had random fps drops to 30 that lasted minutes. Now stabble 60FPS and even increased some graphics options. Weird that CDR hasn't hotfixed this, but that's just one of the many strange management descissions with this game.

Are any missions time-sensitive or I can take my time and do other things until I want to get back to them. There are some that the game makes it seem like they're very urgent, especially some of the car purchases, but I suppose that's just "flavour"?

None of the missions are time sensitive that I am aware of, off the top of my head. The only real sense of time progressing comes via the main plot, but time effectively stands still between each of those missions. The game pops up a giant warning when you get to the point of no return specifically so you can go off and fuck around for another 30 hours doing side-quests or whatever.

Strange, on my 3800x neither the hex fix, nor that configuration tool changed anything regarding to the perforamnce. 1440p with my 5700xt is running around 40-55FPS (mostly high/ultra, only ssr and volume stuff on medium).
Maybe you were just under 60 and vsync triggered before and with the fix you are slightly over 60 so vsync didn't half your fps?

Apparently if you have more than 6 cores then you don't see much benefit from the SMT fix. I have an 1800X and didn't really notice any obvious change. I got more out of tweaking individual graphics settings.
