yeah, maybe it should have been the idea from the start - a joke game, like the goat simulator and what not. Now it's an unintentional joke game, not optimal.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

The Witcher 3 had different issues at launch. Less visual glitches and quests breaking, but it was far more unstable.

I remember not being to play more than an hour/hour and a half at a time with TW3, whereas I've not had a single crash in 35 hours of Cyberpunk.

Cyberpunk has lots and lots of "minor" issues which are quite immersion breaking. Personally immersion is very low on my list for an RPG (immersion gets broken the second I interact with a UI element), systems and writing are far more important from my perspective.

I worry real issues like MMO style itemisation (which was fucking awful in TW3 as well), get buried by le redditors complaining they can't play on Arcade Machines or that the crowd AI isn't great.

The game also gets way too easy later on. I'm practically unkillable at level 35 on very hard. 20 points in body and armadillo armour mods in every slot pays off too easily.

I've had a lot of crashes. Usually few hours into the game, it just crashes to desktop suddenly (and opens the CDPR error reporter).

There's in general no indication of the incoming crash. I haven't seen anything in the performance monitors etc. (ie. ram usage, gpu / cpu spiking in any way )

If you're overclocking the GPU at all, try running it stock. I had to drop my previously "stable" OC by a whopping 100mhz to run Cyberpunk without any crashes.

For once it's not the user that crashes, it's everything inside that does.

I think the AI script looks like this:

Code:

404

Oh some reviews, seriously, giving me a brain tumor:

Quote:
It’s buggy and flawed on many technical (but very fixable) levels, but Cyberpunk 2077 is a unique and beautiful experience on almost all other levels. All in all – a masterpiece.

Quote:
An immersive and stunningly crafted RPG, which has raised the bar for cinematic quality in open-world games. Just be aware of the bug issues at release.

100/100

Quote:
Cyberpunk 2077’s biggest achievement is Night City, the most fascinating city in videogame history so far. While the combat outside of the main story does sometimes feel a little repetitive, the way it encourages the player to interact with the everyday lives of the inhabitants of this bustling city results in a roleplaying experience in the truest sense of the word. The game towers like a skyscraper in the Western RPG genre skyline.

100/100

Quote:
Cyberpunk 2077 is a fantastic game that we have never experienced before, and is a window into the future of next-gen gaming and what it's capable of. We are addicted to its world and everything in it, and we don't mind risking our reputation saying that it's easily our game of the decade, despite it missing out on the Video Game Awards for 2020...This is a brutal, visceral world to live in, where death seeps through the concrete jungle and every job you take on feels like the beginning of your dark end in this unforgiving landscape. Yet every time we complete a quest and receive some EuroDollars for our effort, we find ourselves itching to rush back into the danger and discover what other horrors await us.

100/100

Quote:
It had to be a monumental task to build this "city of dreams" and also populate it with passionate stories and characters, fantastic music and a captivating personality. Shortcuts to greatness are extremely rare, and the steadfast and safest path remains hard work, passion, and the desire to create something that surpasses others, with the right resources to do so. CD Projekt could have rested on The Witcher's laurels, made more sequels, and released a couple of best-sellers in the time it took Cyberpunk 2077 to finish, but that's not the path of the Polish studio, driven by more ethereal goals. Money, yes, and success, but leaving a mark too. Glowing brightly in the intensity of the night. Making history before our eyes.

100/100

Quote:
The setting is refreshingly different and can only be compared with Deus Ex, even if CD Projekt Red has a whole lot more to offer in terms of style. I also really liked the great characters. And I'm not even talking about Keanu Reeves here. I especially took characters like Judy, Panam and Delamain into my heart and followed their subplots with almost more joy than my own main story. As a role-playing game, it offers me exactly the right mix of profound character system and gripping combat action. I'm already looking forward to another round in which I'll try a completely different approach. I actually find it rather positive that it is not as extensive as The Witcher 3. Yes, the game still has a surprising number of unpolished edges, and yes, there are a few small imperfections that I don't really like. But I just hope for the first patches, because in the end Cyberpunk 2077 is a great game that you should have played even with these corners.

100/100

Quote:
Despite a few flaws, Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most consistently astounding pieces of media I've ever had the pleasure of consuming.

100/100

@Sin317 But this is always the case.

SkillUp and GiantBomb completely shat on Fallout 76 for running badly and being very, very buggy, but this crap gets 10/10 for "potential" (but still running badly and being very, very buggy) Laughing jOuRnAlIsM

I thought it's the usual placebo shit but I changed all the numbers in the file to 0 which should dynamically change the numbers.

I have a particular place where I check performance. Normally I have around 40 -50 fps in that place (fresh restart). After the change I have 50-60 fps. Shocked

Have to test stability but seems like a go to me!

They forgot to apologize for embargoing reviewers from mentioning the console version in any review, and not allowing the console reviews to go up right until launch date, and using bogus copyright strikes to take down user videos of the console crap. Rolling Eyes Even EA doesn't do that.
