All of them are amazing games, but I kind of bounced off of Yakuza 3 for some reason. Yakuza 4 and 5 are amazing (the dancing minigames with Haruka <3 )

Iirc Yakuza 3 is the one game that was butchered by localisation. Just remember hearing about a lot of stuff being removed and changed.

1 and 2 are still amazing.

Not all of them are amazing, but its a highly enjoyable series. 4 and 5 will take some getting used to though

Yeah, with 4 & 5 they decided to try something new, because the series were getting a little bit stale.

But I still think that even 4 and 5 are great games with great story and great characters.

People should get used to 4 and 5 easily I think. That's basically 0's combat spread across 4 characters.

Yup, seeing as they are only remasters, not full blown remakes like to some extent Kiwami 1 and fully Kiwami 2, the requirements are a bit lower.

Nice little preview that also showcase some of the graphical options we may expect. (slight spoilers in the story part column)

Also the price is up on the Microsoft Store and apparently the collection will be priced at 39.99 (there is also rumours of 20% discount at launch). |

SJW's censored this one too it appears. And here I was thinking the Japs had the balls to stand up to that bullshit.

It's strange because when the PS4 version was released, it was mentioned that the previously censored content (specifically for Yakuza 3) was included in the remasters.

I guess, we'll see.

I think they re-included previously cut content from the western release of the game (the hostess management mini-game and like 20 or so side-quests). As far as I can tell, they're now cutting out some sidequest that pokes fun at a tranny, but who knows what other crap those snowflakes are going to cry over. It also seems like this was a pre-emptive move on the developers' part, so as to avoid having to weather the inevitable backlash of the "woke" mob. Basically, kowtowing. And that's a slippery fuckin' slope.

Just got finished playing Like A Dragon earlier today - but it looks like that'll be the last purchase they see from me.

I've started Yakuza 3 and the movement / camera controls are awful. Is it the same for 4, 5 and 6 or is 3 a one off?

3 is pretty harsh coming from 0 / K1 / K2!

If I remember correctly 3-5 are all very similar and only 6 was made with the newer engine used in 0 and the 1 and 2 remakes.

Yep, 3-5 were remasters of the PS3 titles and they didn't even bother porting them on the 0 engine. The movement and the visuals were extremely rough back then and particularly in 3, the enemies were notorious for blocking your moves constantly. So you'll have to power through this title. 4 & 5 are really beefy content wise, so that's a good thing.

0 & Kiwami (the same engine as 0) were made on a different engine. 6, Kiwami 2, Like a Dragon & both Judgement games were made on their latest Dragon engine.
