After some time poking around, found out that my 1070 wasn't getting past it's base clocks so a fresh install did the trick and performance is somewhat decent now (at least it manages to hold more than 30FPS on Ultra but I'm gonna fiddle around with the settings later). Performance is somewhat ok but could be better judging by the visuals, even RDR2 looks way better and performs better than this
2h-3h in, I really like the atmosphere and the graphics looks somewhat good, but nothing jaw-dropping. The giant UI is horrible and all over your fucking face, and movement is extremelly clunky, clothes clip all over your character during certain animations/cinematics, it's a fucking chore to pick up items and inventory management is a complete nightmare on that stupid UI, selling and buying stuff is maddening aswell.
Not that I don't regret buying it, but dear god... What a clusterfuck even Witcher 3 was in a better state than this at release

Go into the game and unbind/rebind the key you want to use for your walk toggle if its bind to something else, like Alt for example.
2. Then go into Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config and edit InputUserMappings.xml file.
3. Find the section <mapping name="LeftY_Axis" type="Axis" > at the top and add this at the bottom
<button id="IK_Alt" val="0.4" overridableUI="forward"/> or the value can be whatever you want. It's the speed of your character 1.0 = full. It should look something like this:
Welp, i find this game very underwhelming. Apart from the bugs etc, i find the gameplay toooo stale. Hopefully the story is great so when the patches finally polish the game ill take it on again.

Checked out how it runs on a system similar to mine and it looks like GTA V as far as gfx quality is concerned (if I want it playable at any rate since most settings will be low-medium with some set to high). Obviously it's a lot busier on the screen with tons more to draw on screen.
We'll see what happens in the future with patches that hopefully optimize the game somewhat but I know my rig is getting outdated for the more advanced stuff that is coming out from now on.
It runs good enough on my Vega 64 by using CAS and dynamic lower resolution and tweaking a few settings.
But this game definitely needs a faster GPU for full glory. Still the Vega 64 does a good enough job for around 50-60FPS on 3440x1440 if you can live with the dynamic resolution. At least good enough to find out if this game is worth buying and even more, investing in a better GPU.

There are idiotic stuff you need to do as well. Not bug but like hack this in the room with the bot so that the bot can proceed while the people are distracted.
Why not hack the initial door in the first place?
IF you could just easily hack everything, the game wouldn't be neither fun nor interesting anymore, and you'd sit there regretting your purchase because of that instead.
I did the testing for you guys. The one RTX feature you want off is RTX lighting. If you have a keen eye, you will notice the difference, but it is not major. But not only does it give you 10-12 extra FPS, it smoothens it out as well (less input delay). The rest of the RTX needs to stay on. Best DLSS setting is actually auto, as it will dynamically switch to performance mode only in the heavies hitting scenes. Otherwise it is like balanced.
I tested all sorts of combinations. This gave me the best looks combined with the best feel.
