Anyone was able to get a side quest where it has some kind of intro/outro, and not just a simple filler side quest? I did like 5-6 side quests so far and all of them were like:
Text message saying: bad guys doing evil things, exterminate! Good job!
And the quests took like 10 minutes to finish (hardest diff.)

those are not quests, just side activities, there are real ones, ala the witcher also, usually yellow ! on the map, blue ones are just sideactivities etc, good for loot/cash

I did some, but I'm surprised that there are only few at least in the prologue.

Hopefully after the map becomes more open, there will be a plethora of good side quests.

anyone has problems with picking shit up? most of the time you have to stand in some weird angles but also things are not pickable many times like this

My work buddy played it for a bit in the morning on Stadia. It worked ok, though AFAIR - you have to buy the game there, and won't be able to launch it anywhere else right? So if you already bought it, you're better off with GeForce NOW

I'm 4 hours in and I encountered only a few bugs. The most hilarious one was VOs switching mid-scene from english to russian to german. Otherwise I like it so far. Performance is okay, few dips here and there, I definitely expected worse.

The in-game cursor and the UI annoy the shit out of me.. Also, had to crank up the FOV to 90.

Already had a couple bugs, one was a NPC popping up when I opened the door and the other was at V's apartment meeting Jackie on the street, cars drove through the barrier, lost half their doors on one side and went into a flee-behaviour and nearly every 2nd car did this, oh my Laughing

As Sin would say, clearly a GOTY for me.

I did almost 11 hours today, pretty disappointed in the quest types and variety. Most feel exactly the same and have nothing unique

Exploration isn’t very interesting either for the most part, Mankind Divided did it better



So its just the regular nuDeus Ex inspired game, coming well short of the original's heights ? I saw others feeling the same - just your regular open world game, why did it take so long to come out

During the first shootout in the prologue there was a datapad or whatever it's called and it was shitting on Obamacare with a different name, advocating for universal health care. Apparently the USSR rose from the ashes and is leading the world in the medical field, too.

I scanned through the usual places to see if people like the game and even in the reddit echo chamber there are many disappointed people. Mostly console peasants, though. Laughing

Yeah GFN seems better imo (forgot about GFN). From youtube, CPK on stadia seems blurry af.But people have shitty internet Laughing .

3h in.

Performance is better than expected. It's playable on my peasant rig (30-45 fps on med - high settings). I thought i could barely start the game Laughing But it could get worse in spots i didn't discover yet.

Game itself is pretty good so far. Only encountered some minor bugs (T-poses, traffic...). Just wish the world itself would be more interactive. I miss small things like buying food from the food stands but the city's visuals so far are incredible.

Only major gripe I have is the no walking on K+M. I know this is something very subjective but I like to slowly walk through the city/rooms sometimes.

Runs good here. RTX ultra preset at 4K with DLSS balanced 45-55 fps (3700x + 3080). Looks very good and extremely detailed. Can't judge gameplay after 3 hours, but so many options. Shooting is much better than I expected. No time to play Sad

Loading the game takes 10 secs btw. Very impressive.

Yeah, load times are really good like -10: you have not even launched the game and you are already playing it without realizing it.

But yeah performance on shitty cards are shit.

Got my CE, we have to build one additional room for it in our house.

And I guess I'm sitting at a stable 30FPS with my 5700XT at 1440p ultra settings Laughing This card was able to play all games at 1440p with at least 60fps Crying or Very sad

Runs here over 60fps all settings on ultra (5120x1440 + DLSS Quality), RTX is off, runs like dog shit with RTX on and does not look that much different, reflections and stuff are pretty good looking when turned off.

runs perfect with everything on ultra Smile rt on psycho seemed fine too but i just kept on ultra anyway. even whilst streaming it stayed stable
