Another pretty good episode. This one had some Japanese ronin style mixed in with the lone gunslinger/western vibes and the Star Wars universe. Nice to finally see a Jedi in the show.

meh, they already had their western bullshit in the desert monster ep , dont need more of this lazy cliche shit, star trek got away with it cause they had a gazillion episodes and needed fillers, this doesnt have any plenty of eps yet to warrant gap filler eps with silly western ronin stuff

Ashoka Tano actor nailed it, she was great. Combat wasn't amazing but eh, didn't perhaps expect Phantom Menace quality fighting either..

Actor just means person who acts, it's does not specify gender. You can use "actress" if you specifically want to say this person who acts is female. Learn English, then you can correct people all you want  Actually i think it's the same in most languages, in Swedish it's "skådespelare", it also just means any person who's acting.

if you're a big fan of SW you probably have watched Clone Wars series, Rebels, read expanded universe books (The Thrawn Trilogy) and yes, then you know both Ahsoka and Thrawn... if not then no.

Why, he was mentioned one time, he's not introduced apart from his name. Also it's not shit, it's better than this show, that's for sure. The creators can't treat the show like everyone is new to the SW universe, then it would be derp beyond belief.

It's just a mention, the show is about Mando not the jedi. Maybe they are setting up a future show/movie about her, Thrawn has no relevance in this show.

My Starwarsian knowledge only comes from the movies and classic KotOR games so this feels rather refreshing to me, which is a plus. There is still verycool(tm), but it's done elegantly in a way that respects the expectations without turning the whole thing into a circus of berries.
Perhaps I'd like the scope to expand a little and add a bit more depth, though that would probably mean losing what makes the personal approach of the Mandalorian story unique in the first place. At the end of the day I'm very much okay with what we have, it works damn well so far and that's what counts

I always found it interesting how in half the scifi movies I've seen the weapons are worse than ww2 era weapons. The troopers would be way better off firing MP40 smgs then these pew-pew slow firing shit they have. Which bounce off the armor anyway lol
