I tried this game a while ago, and it seemed really fun. Unfortunately they very heavily nerfed rerolls in V 1.1.
I had no luck getting a 5* but might keep playing now because I can’t be arsed to try anymore.
It sure is very entertaining game and i've got Diluc and Mona 5 star in 6th reroll (now you get less wishes, but need only AR5 for getting all possible wishes at that level - there are lots of good guides for doing reroll's after 1.1 update), so i guess i'm lucky and set for a good start Now i hope for getting Venti and it would be enough. But easy to say, hard to achieve keeping in mind RNGesus
Can i play this as a regular single player game? i never play online games but this being free and art looks kinda like BotW make me wanna try it. Should be 4K 60fps on PS5.. might try it out if it is fun playing alone..

Very much so! It's co-op mode is only an addition to a great single player experience. I'm astonished how good this game and at the same time free. It could be easily 60$ game. 2020 is really weird, I'd never thought that chinese f2p game would be one of the best jrpgs I ever played.

I can second that. When i was searching for a deep and entertaining game to play and i saw that genshin impact sits between top10 in lots of streamers suggestions, i was like: "nah, i won't play some shitty jrpg. never. " But the more i searched, the more i was keen to try it. And boy oh boy, this game hooked me from first minutes. In 25 years of my gaming career i must say it was smoothest experience from the get go. Visuals are simple, vibrant and at the same time stunning. Usually in these open world games my biggest grip is questing and how linear and boring it is. And in this game i don't even remember which level i'm now, but i've never felt that i am being forced to do some daunting or fetch tasks. Sure there is a story and you have to follow it in some way, but i'm so distracted with exploration that i even forget about progression. The combat... at first glance is very simplistic, but when you get a full team of supporting chars, thet it is a blast! I remember in the beginning i was thinking: "Oh well fighting is too easy". But after progressing in story to lvl 10 i believe, i had to go to some dungeon... And my ass was kicked. Multiple times. Eventually experimenting with my team's synergy i managed to overcome it. My hands were shaking Items, artefacts, crafting are well done too.
So all in all don't be dissuaded by simple style or childish voiceovers - this game is fun and quite deep. Whoever is on the fence, i strongly suggest to try it. It's free and download is 14 GB approx.

You are guaranteed to get 5* when you hit pity. 70+ is high chance and 90 is 100%.
Started saving for Zhongli. Let's see. Else I wait for Xiao.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Played it for about a week or two. Managed to get bored right before reaching level 30.
The character synergies are kinda nice, makes an already decent feeling combat more satisfying, but right around level 20-25 the grind gets tedious enough that I cannot be assed to carry on.
The story up to that point was usual JRPG affair, nothing I cared all that much about, and the dialogue was the all too familiar cringe-fest we learned to love/hate from English dubbed anime. At least Paimon's jokes landed a couple times, which was more than I expected.
Once I realized that I don't give a hoot about the story I just put on some podcasts to listen to while playing and switched to Japanese voiceover so the non-cutscene voice lines are not as cringe.
For a free game it's worth a try I guess, especially for body-pillow hugging neckbeards.

Because not much stuff there once you reach adventure rank 30 really. Game is kind of live service without online crap (you can still co-op but limited). As they keep adding more stuff, story, regions, it will get better.
After 28(?) you get only character chapters at every 2 adventure ranks. All the way to 38 (Mona) and 40 (Childe). After that nothing.
Next update is Dragonspine (snow region) and should come out in December.
Main update and new region will come out in Feb-March.
The recent update concluded Liyue story. Liked it very much. The new boss fight is also nicely done. Way better than Dvalin/Wolf.
started playing this about 1-2 months ago and I'm enjoying it quite a bit
I was surprised to find that this game, while taking most of what it does from other games, it does so very well. It's well designed and programmed with a (to me) very pleasant art style, voice acting and music
I enjoy the rpg progression it has going on and the combat system is not super deep but fun
Best part was probably the exploration of the world, which I'm done with at this point, but more areas are coming in the future. Good frequency of content updates and events too from what I can tell
Right now there's a week long or something event where you play hide and seek with 3 other players, but with dark souls style turning into random boxes or whatever to hide
good stuff
anyway, I can recommend this game, unless (as usual for f2p gacha games) you're a completionist/min-maxer
Then you better not start or you're either gonna go insane or broke.
Personally I just take what I get and I'm happy with it but I know some people who can't stand not getting that character they want or whatever and it'd drive em nuts.
But that's gacha games for ya (I think so at least.... this is the first I actually enjoy)
