Phahaha, I cannot even comprehend what a total disaster the RDR is on the PS Now service right now, that I just tried..this is hilarious, the slow performance / slow texture loading , lagg / delay in controls, jagged up edges beyond recognition (literally no anti-aliasing, like the game is running 800 x 600)..there is also, some odd flickering, when there is all black background..this is unbelievable, how this service can exist..however I don't know if this is server distance related or not, because i'm not from US, I just own an US account..and I have a good connection 50/20..but holly shit, avoid this like the devil himself..very glad a friend lended his US credit card, to try the 7 days free trial, because i wouldn't never forgive myself if I'd paid 20$ for this shit..I remember the game looking and the game overall experience alot better on my X360..and I tried it on PS4 and on PC

I tried PSNow on optic fiber and even though I was impressed by the technology, graphics weren't as crisp as my real PS3, and the input lag was terrible.

I could live with graphics being worse than they really are..but the input lag is totally turning me off.
Red Dead Redemption has been added to the list of games that receive significant visual improvements over the original release, including a bump to 4K resolution.
Kinda fine releasing if after 2... Kinda. It continues the story, but is a technical disaster in comparison. Will people handle the transition from new masterpiece to old masterpiece? Time will tell i guess.
If it's remastered, judging by Rockstar's track record, I expect it to look as good or better than RDR2, which still looks far superior than all "næxt" "gæn" gæmz so far.
Wasn't it exactly the same for the GTA5 remaster? Granted, a lot less work, but still, they worked on it in secret (there were "rumors"), and then they dropped the veil and announced it a short time before release. If their engine is modular, and they can take the existing RDR2 engine, rebuild the map and import the original scripts into it, it could be less work than one would expect (RDR2 has most of the assets an RDR1 remaster needs).
Hm, no 20 days is too short. Maybe reveal in 20 days, with a release in a few weeks.
