i know it was not a bug. Thats what im saying. How can you make a game where the character walks sideways and it being by design ? I cant think of another game, ever, that works like this. In addition to that cunt not being able to walk straight, why is the camera going slowly from left to right, then reseting if you aim the weapon. Then proceed to slowly slide from left to right. These 2 things were infuriating from the first second right until the end of the game. At least they fixed one of them

Does it hurt much? You know... your head. When you spill out such nonsense.

Quoting myself with a post from August 10:

In any over-the-shoulder (third-person) game the character will always walk towards the center of the screen / camera. Examples: Witcher 1, A Plague Tale, Ass Creed games, Senua, ANY MMO out there.
Guess what.
In HZD Aloy walks in a straight line, ignoring camera position, hence the feeling she is constantly deviating from the expected path, mostly towards the left side of the screen.
 |
This is one of the things that made the game unplayable for me.
EVERY SINGLE third-person game with over the shoulder camera (except Horizon 0 Morning!), has the character WALKING TOWARDS the FOCUS point, which is the center of the screen or the way the focal center of the camera is aiming. Only HZD had the handicapped style of making the character walking in a straight line, which is VIRTUALLY unrealistic from the character's / players's point of view.
Guess some people felt natural walking like a drunk turtle, lagging towards each side of the screen.

Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition for PC - Patch 1.07 is now available
Hi everyone!
We’re happy to announce that Patch 1.07 for Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition is now live!
As we mentioned in our previous update, our team has been hard at work on some of the trickier graphical issues, which needed some more time in development.
With Patch 1.07 the team has rewritten the way the engine deals with shaders and shader-optimisation. This results in the optimisation step becoming optional,
as well as the Anisotropic Filtering option now working as expected.
What this means for you: upon starting the game, it will start optimising shaders in the Main Menu each time.
Shaders will also still be optimised during gameplay, but this now happens automatically in the background.
Letting the game run the initial shader optimization is completely optional, so if you want to jump straight in, you can skip it; letting this process finish before playing will improve your loading times in the game.
Lastly, please note that changing AF settings can take some time depending on your PC hardware. You can find the Known Issues and full Patch Notes for Patch 1.07 below; if your issue isn’t among them, you can continue to send us your reports here.
Take care,–Guerrilla
Known Issues
CPUs that have more than 16 cores might experience a higher amount of instability
Some players are experiencing graphical settings issues, such as HDR not working correctly.
Some players are experiencing performance issues on specific GPUs or hardware combinations.
We're aware of and continue to investigate issues that are not yet solved on both the player-compiled lists by u/EvilMonkeySlayer and u/Rampage572 – thank you!
Patch Notes
Graphical Improvements
Anisotropic Filtering now works correctly
The mandatory/unskippable shader optimisation step at first launch has been removed
Shaders are now pre-optimised in the game’s Main Menu, but can be skipped
Shaders are also optimised dynamically in-game

From those, these

make it a broken POS. Because shit like this shows that they couldn't give a shit about properly testing it.
But it's cool that you have no such issues on your "potato rig"

"more than 16 cores"
how many have MORE than 16 cores?
Cores.
Even if HT threads count as cores, how many PC's have MORE than 16?

My PC has more than 16 cores. Does that mean I don’t deserve to play games?
