That balance is not always ideal, but I’m glad, at least, that it forces me to spend more time seeking out interesting things in the game’s world.
Overall, it feels a lot of care and thought went into making Valahalla feel less like a checklist of things to do and more like a world to organically experience.

Judging by the ACG video, it's your typical AC game. Beatiful gameworld with some improvements over the older games, average/boring gameplay. I've had enough of the stale and rotting Ubi formula I think.
It happened again we are in the middle of some amazing wild fuckfest. Some give it 90-100 others 60-70.....its the same shit as always but overall people say its as good or better than fucking Odyssey. I liked Odyssey (not the sidequests and search for shit in the world). But now at least we can walk in teh fucking snow. I am rdy.

tbh im more interested this time in their other open world game with the stupid title that is supposed to release soon, that has puzzles. valhalla, with exeption of the world the rest looks very meh, characters combat voice etc meh
Good fucking vikingatmo with good cutscenes at the beginning I hope they continue that fucking way. 4k ultra an average of 55-60fps with a 3080. Absolutely ok. But could still be better of-fucking-course.
Anyone else having an issue where the game is perma loading after the intro cutscene with the seer speaking about the beginning of the world? I just get a white screen with the logo in the bottom right constantly spinning. Let it run for at least 15 mins like this too
Well it should have appeared already ofc cause there was a fucking preload.....and once it is there you can use a VPN (Freedome for Australia for example) to fucking play this game.

Well if it aint showing after you've bought it thats another fucking prob....ofc the preload worked for many people as it shouldve and therefore it is fucking there. Only thing you need now is an australian ape vpn.

With a Ubisoft Plus subscription it is there in my library and is preloaded. Haven't tried the VPN trick yet (I'm still working) but I'm guessing it will as Legions did work.

So far I like it. Feels a bit fucking deeper than Odyssey regarding story and graphics/atmoshere. Plus you can play shit now like dicegames and stuff. They are coming closer to the Witcher games ^^
