nnaa...if this is the case my system is fine-most of the games (almost all) - runing very well..so..i dunno..
i am starting to think that some how its about hardware and drivers - cause if not so - tell me how it runs on few systems and on few others it doesn't?
all the people that can't run it - got bad systme?
i don't think so.
its a material to thinking of:)

mh curerom is so easy (or maybe i do something really wrong) but it doesnt work at all could it be that the program cant read the right folder? read somethin about this at the Tony Hawk AW nfo ...

same with me, when i get it working, i get the same error as always... And yes i got secuROM 1.3.1, also tried with SR7 stop, Anti-Securom ( some dude said it works ) Think i have fucked to much with getting SF games to work ( and managed that to )

well, i had a tiny probelm with curerom. with crashday the profile thing worked without problems but not for tony hawks american wasteland, it never really started the game. it loaded everything fine but then it got straight back to desktop, no errors no nothing. so i tried it without the profile thing, only loaded the lite thingy and started thaw. no problems....

right i got it working by following the tony hawks nfo
then rebooted , if i didnt reboot it didnt work
plus make sure you dont have any ide dvd/cdrives connected

ok...found a solution..it works finaly and easier that i tought:
first of al..i had only one file 578mb and the clone made from 4 files so..i have got the 3 missing files and what i did is: i burned the game with BlindWrite version 4.5.7 with DAO PW and 4x Speed and i have two cd drives (LG) one is cd RW and the other one is DVD RW and i choose to burn the image with the cd (not the dvd) with out any special reason and when finished to burn ,i installed and started the game and...it asked again for the cd:( so...i just changed the cd position to the dvd and:) the dvd drive made it works and i can play the game - works like charm....
so maybe you can try this too - and also - make sure you have the 4 files of the image and also there is profile that mirror releaes few days ago and i have heard it works with this profile too...its the star wars profile.
have funn:)
*just tested with the securerom too and works like charm:)
make sure you have all the 4 files and that you mounted the image to deamon tolls and recomand to put all the 4 files into one folder.
