Well I'm interested in the tech
Not how directors got their gigs for first season.
Like it's interesting to see how mid profile directors were approached, but then the whole star wars was theeeeeee thing growing up.
Like... It's pr that could have been released prior to the show. It's nice, but you gotta care more about the franchise if you wanna watch it. I'll be waiting for 4 and 5 eps. John Wayne Jr ep might be interesting.
Fucking Disney with their "one eps/week" bs.
Gief ALL eps.
Personally I dont mind that..I grew up with just 2 channels and if we were lucky we got to see 1 random episode of a tv series every second month. So if I have to wait a week for an episode its like winning on lottery for me
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
I think it's more about forcing more than a month of subscription out of people. Why have people pay 7$ when you can have them pay 14$? Nobody subs for anything other than this show anyways, so might as well milk the suckers.

I think the # of people who sub and unsub just to watch 1 show is extremely low...
As boring and super overrated as before. Predictable, no tension, no relevant meaningful story or overall plot, shit humour.
I thought there were filler episodes when I watched the first season. It now seems clear that these episodes are just lazy mini-stories with the thinnest plot possible around it, concealed behind an occasional baby Yoda and decent cinematography.
This should be an animation series instead.
Still going to continue watching it, I'm always overly critical anyway
Both plot and meaning is super clear.. Not sure what makes you think it's not clear since it super simplistic and each episode even has an ending/conclusion.
I still think Clone Wars is a bit better (i'd rate that like 8.5/10 and this perhaps 7.5-8).
It is super simplistic, yes. I just hoped that Mandalorian would be a show with a more continuous story/plot. That was the reason I said the episodes don't seem meaningful. Mainly because I want more story and after most episodes I end up thinking "what was the point?". So they seem fillers to me because it seems I expect too much.
Well it does have the main plot, but i do like that each episode is like a small adventure. it's similar to a SW comic book or the many short stories.. In clone wars i liked the small adventures that spawned over 1 episode the most. I think this works great for a TV-series.
Great 1st episode of season 2. Me and my 5 year old lad love it. It has an old western feel to it that reminds me of watching shows with my Dad on the 80's
30 minutes is too short as well, even for an episodic show. It's not a sitcom or a cartoon.
Firefly (still my uncontested nr 1) episodes were an hour, with pilot being 2 hours even. Mandalorian doesn't have a big cast to give enough screen time, but at least the stories/side characters can be fleshed out a bit more, than just giving them a stupid recurring one-liner. I have spoken.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.
great that they might do 50+ mins, shame its wasted on fucking kiddy acid spitting silly monsters, meh first ep, it needed a lot more bad guys recap and story from my pov
