Game is obviously very playable on a gtx 970 if you are fine with a 30 fps lock. You can easily get above console settings out of it, gsync is still nice to have if you want to play with fluctuating fps.

with a 6700k and a gtx 970 i had around 20-30 fps, for me that is not playable at all and i wouldn't call that elitist

We're in the pc section. Everyone here has made fun of sub 60 fps for as long as i can remember. It's definitely not elitist Hopefully it can look nicer with those fps than PS4 though, which i played it on.

Well to be fair i never actually tried it myself (i don't have a gtx 970 and games like this bore me to tears so i never played it more then an hour) but looking at some recent youtube vids it should be possible now maybe the game was just not very optimized at release.
Well I was able to move my legit game to an external SSD and drop the crack files into the folder.
Worked a charm! I can now play without RockStar anything! I uninstalled the legit game and the annoying "Launcher" too!

Yeah.. I finished it on ps4. Kinda tempted just to check it out 4k maxed graphics etc but would need some saves.
