Next 2 Heroes gonna be Kate Bishop and Clint Barton, one in October the other in November. Speculation going on about Black Panther for December.
The first 17 DLC heroes were datamined from the PC beta a few weeks ago so we know the full list as it seems their plan is to release 1 hero a month. Black Panther and the Wakanda raid were supposed to come out this month but Square Enix said they had to change the War Table show before it aired last week due to his passing as it would have looked like they were trying to profit on his death if Black Panther came out this month. It seems they just removed him from the schedule and keep all the rest on their same schedule that is why Kate is now late October as they seem to want to give players enough time between each release to actually grind out the time gated challenge cards which takes a little over 3 weeks to complete for each to earn the 1000 credits needed for the next DLC hero challenge card. Black Panther will probably end up in December now as I just do not think they can delay him much longer then that if he is supposed to come with the first raid for the game.
The datamined DLC hero list was purposely chosen as characters (the DLC hero names are mentioned in the spoiler so avoid if you want a little mystery)
Spoiler:
that either had an MCU show (Mockingbird, Quake), are getting MCU shows (Kate Bishop, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Falcon, Winter Soldier, She-Hulk) or MCU movie sequels (Ant Man, The Wasp, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel) Mar-Vell is the mirror of Captain Marvel and War Machine is the same for Iron Man as a number of the DLC heroes also will have similar power sets to existing heroes or are mirrored with another DLC like Strange and Wanda as it means less dev time needed if they only need to change some power visuals or a couple of powers rather then create a whole new hero.
Spider-Man being PlayStation only falls into the MCU sequel category but was not on the datamine at least in the PC files but I still included him in the DLC count above.
This patch broke the multiplayer even worse for me. At least before it would occasionally find people after like 20 minutes if you were lucky but now it is resetting the search every 10 seconds if it find people or not and it seems if you do get anyone to join in that 10 second window you cannot even start the mission up as the play button is grayed out.
Since the game came out I have tried numerus times to find online players trying different heroes, power levels, mission types and and before this patch I think I only managed to play about 5 missions online, the matchmaking just has been that broken where you start to not even bother trying it. A lot are also angry that they released an end game mission with this patch that is super buggy and solo only but maybe they had their reasons to try and get people to run that since they knew the multiplayer matchmaking is still broken so you are forced to be solo playing this game anyways.
Marvel's Avengers developer Crystal Dynamics has said it is working on new updates for the game "as fast as we safely can" in a bid to reignite waning player interest.
Yesterday a Forbes report highlighted SteamCharts numbers suggesting the game's PC audience had slumped to between 1000-2000 people a month after launch - low enough for the game to begin experiencing matchmaking issues.
Good

Good
The matchmaking has been broken on PC since the game was released anyways so the player count has been pretty pointless since even when there was 20 thousand people playing it still would not match you with anyone. The devs should have made fixing the matchmaking on PC a priority the first week and more people may have stuck around even with all the bugs.
