There is proper footage as well on the tubewebs, fortunately it doesn't seem to have gone through any major dumbification processes but it's pretty much a refined more-of-the same, which is fine. It won't make up for the disappointment of witnessing the death of Project Cars, but here's hoping it will be serviceable enough for some motoyarring around

Edit:
Looks pretty darn great tbh, I'm aiming for a used FZ6S in november, so this game is gonna fill the void until then
That shaky helmet cam is awesome, hope that's not just in replay mode (though it might induce some migraines after some time playing lol)
"RIDE 4 is not only the best Milestone game to date, but also the best bike simulator in recent years. Either you play it as the simulator that it is, or enabling assists to bring it closer to a more arcade experience or enjoyable for any gamer, this fourth installment in the RIDE series must be played by any speed lover."
I've done some testing as well as per tradition with the updated isodemo available at the Cyka HQs. The presentation and actual physics were noticeably improved from the previous titles, though the features surrounding the core experience and their implementation still fell a bit short.
The primary change is that bikes feel heavier and the sense of inertia is more pronounced than before, leading to a more believable handling model (especially with the various TCS/AW/EB turned off). Dynamic weather and time-of-day are in, proper qualifying sadly is still absent *sad trombone*, and even though the tracks still look rather barren, the new lighting system makes the cockpit view look significantly more immersive and sexier. As for the performance, it's solid even on my potato. Overall, the game doesn't demand the same amount of finesse and precision as the MotoGP series in terms of braking technique, but it is more simulative than the previous Ride titles which is a definite plus in my book.
Problem is, the AI at the moment is so inconsistent with its rubberband-y behaviours and lack of awareness that it makes races far more chaotic than they should be. The silly XPee-based structure of the Career with forced time-trials à la Forza doesn't help, though that seems to be the standard with the simcade genre. Hopefully, they'll keep working on the game and properly patch it in order to leave this pseudo-Early Accessian phase.
Is there any difference in that version to this one
RIDE 4 Complete the Set Edition MULTi8-ElAmigos
I believe Codex's version is the updated build, whereas the Elamigos one is not. There is however the separate v2020.10.09-ElAmigos update too so either way you should be good to go.

Old post, but just saw this thread...
Who does racing sims in 3rd person?

Hi guys, do you know if there are any bike racers with tracks like the ones in rally games? Like in TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2, crossing cities, fields.
