STAR WARS name enough I guess. Currently #4 top seller on steam (behind Spelunky 2 / Among Us / Phasmophobia). Likely move to #2 at launch.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Are they still doing the thing where each sides have a pretty much equivalent fighter craft arsenal? You know, TIE Fighters have pretty much the same stats as X-Wings, A-Wings are almost identical to TIE Interceptors, etc?
I just sense grind more than epic space battles I'm afraid. Just how epic can 5v5 actually be? It won't be anything like BFII (the good one) which is a shame.
Bet there's no solo bot mode either. And I still think Microtransactions are going to somehow be a thing.
I wonder ... Ahh of course - map packs. That'll be where they do it... you just watch.

Nope, map packs would break up the community. Which means they cannot see each other's cosmetics. Which means no envy-purchases. It's all about "just cosmetics" these days.
Oh, and the mandatory XP boosters, repair time reductions, the usual.

Hmm.. After seeing a few reviews and ingame play I'm somewhat torn.. Graphics are of course pretty good. Gameplay... I dunno, I guess without seeing multiplayer its hard to tell... Good thing it's on EA Play though...

I expected it to be as shallow as SW Battlefront, but they really did put some thought and effort into this. Love the cockpits. Wonder if they plan to release more SP campaigns down the road? If so, I'll definitely get it.
Of course it appears EA Play is being hammered, no pasword reset email as I can't log in for some reason, and there's a 135 minute live chat waiting time. Lovely.

Does the VPN time trick work on unlocking this? Or has that hole been patched (global release time etc.)?
