Yea I had the same thing a few times when kids used it and didnt put it back into the dock. Sometimes its not shut down completely so you also need to hold down Power for atleast 15 seconds, then let it charge for an hour atleast. Had a shock the first time it happened .
I didn’t enable it. Apparently it’s enabled automatically when upgrading firmware because … reasons. Who the fuck would want to go back to older versions of the OS?

They managed to switch intros so far but no game injection yet. But fingers crossed.
Wii will not work as it only emulates gfx and audio (according to people who looked into it not sure how true) and everything else is not emulated.

By the sounds of it it is just the HBG shop they are closing. If you donated to them previously you will still have access to their shared GDrive account and can pull games from there.

Mz. has been the one to overlook most of the Shop backend and took care of most of the Shop issues in the past couple months. We are very thankful for his service. Last few weeks, there were multiple changes to how Google rate limited files. While this caused issues for the Shop, Mz. had mostly taken care of them.
But we received a huge flood of users that put our Shop to the test, that it was unfortunately unable to cope with. It's not because our server sucks, but the Google "exploit" we were using was no longer enough. So Mz. implemented a new "exploit" in the course of last week. We saw it live today a few hours and was working marvelously, but that too proved to not be enough... We have had some talks and are continuing to have them to see what we can do about this situation.
Can the Shop continue? If so, how? If not, how else can we provide content to the users? Is it viable? We are looking at many different options, but in the meantime, we ask you to not place any hope on the Shop returning. We are inclined to believe too much has changed for a public Shop to continue functioning as is.

I guess it's time to go through all the shop discords and talk down to ppl about how searching for base64 encrypted gdrive links for nsps is the true oldschool switch piracy way to go and all the little nublets made the shops too popular and now we have to make switch piracy great again
Bravely Default II was one of the last few Switch exclusives Nintendo had on its release calendar for the remainder of this year. That’s no longer the case — it’ll now arrive on February 26th.
A controller grip for @ home also isn't the worst when you feel tired from holding it normally, unless you're using a stand. Note that the Lite can't be connected to any screen so it's usually in your hands anyway.
