Watching movies and series such as the terror really make it interesting i think to actually set foot on one of those wooden ships of the line, apparantly it wont be much longer in the water, end of next year they will move it onto land to save costs

10 million usd it cost to make that replica now 40y ago +-

The guy's enthousiasm is quite enticing Smile

The story of the Batavia is amazing, too. It would make for a great (horror) movie.

The movie Michiel de Ruyter (or Admiral, apparently, in English) from 2015 was pretty good too. Surprisingly well made, for a Dutch production.


The numbers don't decide, the system is a lie. The river running dry, the wings of butterflies.
And you may pour us away like soup. Like we're pretty broken flowers.
We'll take back what is ours. One day at a time.
