I've just stated them?, but if your in for an argument, fair enough.
Microsoft will stop at nothing to 'force' you into whatever, should you choose their piece of crap. They are working tirelessly behind the scenes to take away every aspect you have of controlling your system. Do you think that is right? I, for one, do NOT!
I wish an OS as a 'base' (like it used to be), on which 'I' will run my own software & games, and not what MS decides for me, this includes, not installing needless crap without my permission, and not removing drivers, and also not installing whatever they think is best for me, regardless of what I had set in the first place.
A perfect example of this, is the Nvidia driver set. I don't want the crap that comes with that, aka, GBloatExperience etc., but MS will decide that you WILL have it, should you be stupid enough to not block it from doing so. I had it today on daughter's laptop. Newest (and stripped clean Nvidia set - 452.06) installed, updates came in, and what do ya know?, 451.67 set installed with all the crap. Really?!
Then there is updates, which MS have made sure, that every tweak and thing you have done, will all be reverted right back to how 'they' want them.
Ask yourself this. Why are there so many scripts, programs etc. out there now, to disable and remove all this shit, than there has ever been, in the life of a Windows OS?
And I could go on....
You see, you don't get this shit on LTSC, and I like an easy life, so I'll take the performance hit
In the course of this laboratory analysis it was determined that the telemetry data of the Windows 10 Enterprise V1909 test system can be completely deactivated. Only calls to (Microsoft) servers that provide current cryptographic certificates could not be deactivated by this configuration, as these are required for the day-to-day operation of a Windows 10 system (e.g. if an invalid SSL root certificate is recalled), the data protectionists write. But even these calls can be prevented by specific system configurations (not recommended for security reasons).

Interesting! But not fully clear to me... is enterprise = LTSC? if not, does enterprise get the 6monthly updates through windows updates or are you forced to manually upgrade via iso?
Enterprise gets exactly the same updates as Pro via Windows Update. For me, 2004 update rolled out on June 10th.
I always use Enterprise since Windows 7 since it has the broadest functionality and there's always scene releases .
There is also a seperate LTSC Enterprise version but the current LTSC build is based on Version 1809 which doesn't have the option to disable telemetry.

Why use Enterprise? Do you even run a business? LUL

No issues with 2004 on my desktop. Laptop had a hissy fit after MS's latest 2004 cumulative security patch and having Advanced biometric features turned on in BIOS (apparently it is a known issue) - BSOD
Ryzen 5 5600, ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II, Corsair Vengeance RGB RT 32GB 3600MHz C16, MSI RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC , Corsair RMx Series RM750x. AOC AGON AG324UX - 4K 144Hz 1ms
It should be a relatively smooth sail on paper right now, but then again W10 can work in mysterious ways. I had no issues either on my main PC and two derptops, I let it do the thing, then disabled the basic annoying services/settings (I'm on a regular Pro version), et voilà .
I'm running 2004 since the official version came out. Haven't had a single issue with it.
It's nothing to do with having an 'issue' with it, hell, we all have 'issue's' with most stuff in life. I've got it running right here, and it's an utter turd of an OS. It's more do do with..... (need I go on?)
I'm sure that I've stated my case?, and need say no more
I'll make it simple.
If you like what MS are doing to users, and their systems, then run with it, be happy I absolutely hate it, not so much the OS, but the way MS like to 'control' now. Who the fuck do they think they are?
Let me give you all a little example of that 'control'
MS Flight Simulator 2020.
If you are expecting to run this game on LTSC, then you better be quick, and buy into the 'Steam' version, as, although they are the same, the MS Store version will 'NOT' run on LTSC, period!, whereas, the Steam version does just fine, for now If your on 1903/09, then the game will 'MAKE' you update to 2004, regardless of whether you wish to, before you can even play it
Upgraded yesterday and so far not a single issue detected (fingers crossed).
Thanks for the feedback, guys (you too scara )
There won't be, as it all goes on in the background, constantly eating away at your system/resources/whatever, and sucking away the goodness of your system. This thing is sending out everything, and logging all you do, all without your consent, and all running just sweetly, (on the surface) which is what they want it to do
The only way you will really notice, is if your still on an 2-4 core minion, and look at your 'task manager' regularly I choose to not look, as my heart cant take it at my age, and I've seen that dreadful image far too often now. So much shit running it's beyond belief, and most you don't even know what it does, or what its for? There is stuff in here, that MS have locked down so tight, that it seems this is the only thing that matters to them now.
Go get Blackbird - https://www.getblackbird.net/, outdated, and DO NOT apply on latest Windows! I use this as a guide to see what is actually running on my system that is shit. Run it and let it scan, but DO NOT touch any other key apart from 'S', of which you will get a full scan.
LTSC here, and tweaked You really want all 'GREEN', but I must run it on 2004 just to see, when I have the time.
Spoiler:
Each to their own.
Your welcome m8!
*Edit*
OK, lol, 2004 (508) on one of my lappies, which has been tweaked:
Yesterday i got forced to install a .NET 3.5/4.0 update and an accumulative update for 1909. One installed and the other can't be installed.. But better this way than getting 2004
ASUS X570 TUF GAMING PLUS, 32GB DDR4@2666 ,RYZEN 5800X3D (NO OC),GIGABYTE RTX 4070 Super GAMING OC, Western Digital Blue 4TB 5400RPM + SAMSUNG 860 EVO 500+1TB GB SSDs , OEM SATA DVD 22xNoctua NH-D15 Chromax Black, BenQ XL2420T Case: Be Quiet! DARK BASE PRO 901. PSU CORSAIR RM1200 SHIFT
Hasn't rolled out for me yet. It's supposed to slowly roll out over the coming weeks.
But this is just a big cumulative update right?
Not like the feature updates where it basically reinstalls windows, creates a windows.old folder and has to reboot multiple times.
