maybe you should just auto-enter EVERYONE into a big lolly scramble for all the games that dont get picked by anyone? and each time someone wins one, they get removed from that pool and then roll the next winner? if they dont want it, roll again. we'll find a home for all those games... no games left behind!

So when you pick 20 games your chances of winning a particular game are still higher to when you pick just three?
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

the more games you choose, the lesser your chances are to win a game. So if you enter the same 3 games and 3 other people, but you also choose to enter into more games than just those 3, those other guys have a higher chance to winning those games.
The more games you choose, the lower your percentage goes. This is why we changed the minimum games. 1 person could choose Saints Row which is highly saught after and the others enter 3 and they'd have almost no chance against that 1 person.

Not to be difficult, but instead of forcing people to pick games they don't want or already have, wouldn't it then be better to equalize the total chance of winning a game at all? Since if I would then enter all games, my chance of winning one of those games would be the same, but my chance of wnning multiple games would be the same as for someone who picked 2 games to enter. Imo this would be more fair, as the only effect will be on the person entering multiple games (he'd have less chance of knowing which game he'll get), but now it's possible, as you say, to try and increase your chances on a few of the most highly sought games. Of course the result is that the less known / valued games will be picked less,a nd so we're left with a large amount of unpicked games.
If you like/need, I could write/adapt the algorithm for this.

it's one number that needs to be changed for this, so no, I could do this myself But if you give the same chance to everybody, despite him selecting 30 games, well then I think he shouldn't have the same chance to pick the one quality game. And anyhow, if we chance the rules, will somebody refrain from trying to get Saints row 4? I don't think so.. So this won't make any difference imo
