this is just a dumb article by a journalist who doesn't get that the rest of the world uses 'late 2020' the way america uses 'holiday 2020'. here in the uk if someone said 'holiday 2020' I'd think they meant xmas

It's a catchall US term that basically starts in November (Thanksgiving isn't a fixed day so can fall anywhere between the 22nd and 28th). Maybe even means the last three months of the year in retail.
Every Xbox/PS since 2 has launched in this window.
