|
 |
A woman has a close male friend. This means that he is probably interested in her, which is why he hangs around so much. She sees him strictly as a friend. This always starts out with, you're a great guy, but I don't like you in that way. This is roughly the equivalent for the guy of going to a job interview and the company saying, You have a great resume, you have all the qualifications we are looking for, but we're not going to hire you. We will, however, use your resume as the basis for comparison for all other applicants. But, we're going to hire somebody who is far less qualified and is probably an alcoholic. And if he doesn't work out, we'll hire somebody else, but still not you. In fact, we will never hire you. But we will call you from time to time to complain about the person that we hired.

i knew some girls who always went out with arseholes ,they ended up getting the shit kicked out of them quite alot and i couldnt give a shit it was there own fault ,if you want to go out with someone who has a reputation for beeing hard expect them to be violent and cruel.
how else do you think they got that reputation? from rescuing cats stuck up trees and walking old ladys across the road?

*claps* Dead on analogy.
Still, all joking aside, its kinda true. I mean, I have a ton of friends who are women...least 10 girls I talk to on the regular and im not interested in any of them, aside from being friends and hanging out. I know a couple of them like me, but that makes no difference.
A woman's perspective is sometimes what is needed when a man (least me) has a serious problem.
I know, u always have your boys. But everyone knows how guys are? "Oh ray, this, this and this is going on eh?". "Well, you should do this and maybe that - now lets go get a beer and see some pussy, it'll make u feel better."
U know how many times I was dragged to the rippers when I first divorced my ex? Every fuckin nite i had friends comin over tryin to cheer me up by gettin me smashed and partying. It works, but only while your partying....then the depression sets back in.
But see, I have this one girlfriend, we've been friend's for 10 years or so, probably more. Anyway, she's the best cause if I feel the need to talk, I can always call her and she'll shoot the shit with me for hours on end. Seriously, I once talked to her for 8 hours straight....aside from what yall may think on here, Im kinda a quite guy.
And women just have a softer way of looking at things. A man's reaction (again, atleast mine) is of venegence and violence, in most cases. Like your girl cheats on you, u'd want to be the shit outta the guy first THEN deal with your woman. know what i mean?

quite guy with 8000+ posts...sigh, i remember when i was the king...
back on topic, i totally agree with the original post.. i think ALOT of guys as i mentioned in my other thread have other motives for being a friend to a girl.. especially when she is in need...

How long did it take your balls to drop again after that?

omg... I guess in your world (england of whereever all creepy people come from ) talking on the phone longer than it takes to say "beer!" is a sign of feminity?

Pretty gash if you ask me. Some of my best friends are female and although they're fit I wouldn't think of shagging them or going out with them. If you do like a girl you might make more of an attempt to be around them more but really it should be the other side of the scale. i.e. he MIGHT be interested in her (on my scale probably = more than 50% might = less than 50% but you get the drift)
the 1s that say this are the one's with no experience at all and are trying it for themselves as a last gasp attempt at losing their virginity at 27.

Wait a minute, most of my post was bullshit, seeing as virtually all friendships develop out of proximity.
Personally though I can't see a man being 'best friends' with a girl unless he wants to shag her.

I think it's obvious though that if a guy is always hanging around a girl, no matter if the reason is that they're apparently 'friends' he usually likes her.

Dude, she's like one of if the not closest friend I have. And she's really easy to talk to cuz we are pretty much the same - the way we think, act, talk etc and i enjoy talking and spending time with her

No, I know plenty of guys who have a female best friend. Contrary to popular belief, not all men have a sex drive that could kill a rhino. (That sounds wrong, I know.)

I have a few female friends that I happen to have sex with. I still only consider them friends though. It's easy to detach sex and relationship. I have to admit though, the only reason I don't sleep with other female friends is because they are in committed relationships.
I mean... sex is a good stress reliever, and friends are there to help each other out.
