Perhaps this? - https://store.steampowered.com/app/494430/Praey_for_the_Gods/
Never played it but looks closest to a Shadows of the Colossus game on PC.

But for action fighting games Devil May Cry 5 is one of the best even tho I liked the older ones more (it has better fighting gameplay but level design and story are lacking imo).

Grow Up

Loved their previous game, Grow Home. It was the game that made me research if it was possible to play in 3D somehow (it seemed great for that), so i used some hack to play it on my Plasma 3D TV.. it was far from optimal and it made me buy 3D Vision 2.

Both of these games are amazing, really underrated. Very simplistic gameplay (climb to the top, basically) but at the same this gameplay element is such a joy and really drives you. If you love games with a lot of vertical movement, unprecedented heights, joy of exploring you'll probably like it. Graphics are great too (if you're into voxel graphics).

It's a whole different thing in stereoscopic 3D though, the devs are so clueless as to how much better looking and how much more sense it makes it SS3D, it should have been THE games to introduce people to 3D Vision imo.

Such a sad fate that for some idiot reason SS3D was seen as a "fad". Guess we should be happy that the same fate did not happen to color TV..

After finishing Dungeon Siege and the expansion, Legends of Aranna, I decided to tackle on Ultima V: Lazarus remake mod. I didn't expect much of the mod but, oh man, this is a real labour of love.

Expanded dialogue systems, delves more into the perversion of Virtues by the Shadowlords, day / night system, NPC schedule system, all the bells and whistles.

So good, so damn good.

Dungeon Siege...

I do remember reading in a magazine, 1000 years ago, a preview about that game's new 3d never before seen seamless world with no loading times. It was quite impressive and really exiting. I was so anxious to get my hands on that game...

I remember how fascinating it was when I played it for the first time. But... I never finished that game when it came out. It was too repetitive.

Those First Gen 3d games didn't age well Smile They looked like shit, even back when they came out, but because "3d" they were glorified to no end.

And Dungeon Siege 1 was just go from A to B and repeat forever. Could have been a side scroller and nobody would have noticed the difference Smile

18 years ago when it was released it was fun and did NOT look like shit (I guess you guys don't really remember the experience and the comparison to other games back in 2002 when it was released). Yes, it was pretty linear, as was many other action games with rpg elements in those days (and later... just look at torchlight that arrived 7 years after the first Dungeon Siege). DS 2 & especially DS 3 did not improve on the original though which would be the downfall of the franchise.

For me it was, at the time, a solid 8/10 game. 18 years later and it's too dated and simplistic, but at the time it was fresh, pretty and filled the gap after Diablo II (2000) even though it was much more linear.

I clearly remember playing it when it was released, I did not like the graphics or the gameplay, but i've never been that much into hack'n'slash. It was probably a decent game for people who were into that.

We played it at release and if it wasn't for playing with friends in a Lan Cafe back then, I would never even have touched it. Its art style, the gameplay etc. was all shit.

Dungeon Siege 2 was the absolute contrary, it was fun, looked good and yeah, was fun, lol.

But like so many games from the "3:4/4:5" era of resolutions, it didn't age well at all lol.

But it was so much more fun, that DS1. DS1 was pretty barebone DnD "in real time-ish", DS2 was more of a DnD meets Diablo 2.

And we don't need to speak about DS3 lol, it's in the same type of hell as Sacred "3" Smile

Wolfenstein Youngblood, it's nice but The New Colossus is much better, guns feels much less fun on Youngblood, also i still haven't completely died but from what i can tell if you die you restart the whole level, that's very bad design imo, also can't save mid game and game continue even in menu so no shit break lol, sometimes dev comes up with such nonsense. Laughing

Playing a bit too many atm.

Crusader Kings III
Wasteland III
F1 2020
Football Manager 2020
World of Warcraft

And occasionally I squeeze in a game here and there to test/see if I like it or doing beta's.

Black Ops 3- After avoiding Call of Duty for couple of years i got the urge of playing some campaign, so i played BO3 to almost completion and it sucks balls, story is one of the worst i played lately and gameplay is well nothing special. Also wanted to play Infinite Warfare but half an hour was enough Laughing, maybe Cold War will be more fun.
