Lucky, your Kuva Lich looks like they might have one of the Ephemeras on it from that image so you would unlock that when you kill it. Mine has one of the new weapons (not those Kuva variants) on it but I might make him an ally since he was my first one but I am probably still a long ways off from being able to kill him anyways. Mine has a visual bug though so I posted this image to Art team bug section on the forums.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Basically, finish the normal starchart, talk to Teshin in a relay and you get a NG+ starchart where enemies are 100 levels higher than normal and get better drop rates on resources and mods.
Apart from an operator costume set and some kind of orbiter decoration, that's about it.

Still the most fun game for me, been playing it for 2+ years now. Content drops are mostly ok-ish, but I just wanna see what these insane devs keep coming up with. They are just having fun with the game and the universe they made and do not just add more same-y planets, they really try with new gamemodes and re-imaginings of old planets.
And sure we complain about most patches, I didn't play railjack for the first 2 months because of all the bugs, but looking back it's fantastic what content they keep adding.
Wanna see more of the New War and how things play out

boring bullet sponge mode
Yeah... but there is Mastery Rank to be had. ~24 per mission, 1000 per junction. Looks like I'll have to force my way through on my quest to MR29
I mean..say, if I want to experience and see most of the content the game has to offer (except this new NG+ bullet spongy crap) .. Is it behind a huge "grindwall" ? Does it take lots of grinding and shit to get new frames?

So & so.
To clear the starmap and all the first quests, not so grindy. But you need a little luck on mod drops. If you dont have the luck, you need a little grind on few planets.
Some of the frames are really easy to get and you need to run a mission 5-6 times (5 min runs).
But grind ... all the missions are the same from planet to planet, only the tileset changes and some random generated maps. So its a "grind" from start to finish.
When you start with the plains, then it gets grindy and when you want all the frames and weapons.
All said, I still enjoy it few hours here and there. I like the faaaast paced movement, as I feel it keeps my aiming skill sharp enough.
For example going from WF to doom, the doom felt slow and I had no problems dodging and avoiding the fire.
Unfortunately the Game has so many Systems that either only loosely connect or dont at all and barely anything is explained in game with enough detail. As far as New User Experience goes its one of the worst out there. If you take the Time to learn about the Mechanics its a very good game though.
To be fair, the game has no challenge at all. The frames are super OP and you barely die. People sit in survival mode for an hour to get somewhat challenging enemies (yes spongy enemies) but at least they hit you hard and you don't feel super OP like usual. 2-3+ hours is where you start to feel the pressure but by that time most players doze off.
That said, game is still good. I didn't like this year updates and Railjack left a poor taste. Unfinished/buggy mess.
For new players, it is still good fun. The grind isn't mental and you can queue up in a way you have something new ready to use every couple of days. The fast-paced movement is still the best.

I am not sure what would really change though even if Tencent bought them as far as monetizing the game since everything already kind of has set prices after so many years of being F2P.

i agree but i dont think games like this can be challenging, on the higher lvls enemies just take more damage and 2 shot you now thanks to shield gating, there is nothing challenging about that
EDIT: meh. Just another faction reputation grind with the same fishing/mining/hunting/bounties activities. The only difference is the kinda-neat-for-5-minutes aesthetics of the Family and the new infected enemies.
Really hope they have something more planned once the pandemic subsides because this kind of gameplay was boring AF when the Plains were released, and this is the third open world with zero improvements.
And universal crossplay also is being worked on. PC, PS, XB, Switch, all on the same server. Plus they even made a mobile version.
First ever game I'm happy to see a mobile version. If it's the exact same game (and judging by the demo it is) then this is the perfect mobile game. Can be played in short bursts, monetization isn't too obnoxious, etc. I have my doubts about the controls, touchscreen "gamepads" are always crap, but for a 30 minute bus ride, it's manageable.
I kind of lost it when I saw it running on a phone. The optimization that went into their engine over the years is really showing. I'm glad they finally managed to get cross-play and more importantly cross-save going. They've been trying ever since they started porting to other platforms, but the problem has always been more on Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo's side. There is one worry though: now they really have to launch updates at the same time on all platforms. I guess the test server is going to get a lot more use now?
As for The New War footage, I just have so many questions... more than anything would be how does taking control of the different factions tie into the game's core. I don't see them building all of that just for the quest. Could it be that they're finally trying something else with PvP?
Also, being Teshin's #1 fanboy, that segment hyped me up quite a bit...

Who needs Steam Deck if you can play such games on mobile
After seeing many post about new updates, downloading it again after a few years of not playing. Hopefully something has changed so you don't have to grind for stuff in order to progress story missions. That sucked big time.
if this game is as good as and the dev as nice as everyone cliams, why isnt there a bigger twitch/youtube presence ? i rarely see any viral movies or streamers of this franchise

400k+ people were watching the Tennocon presentation on Twitch on Saturday. The gameplay just works for the most part but as for watching it unless DE release new story content you can only watch someone crack relics, do bounties or missions for so long before it gets boring to watch. It is the sort of game that is just better to play then watch but it also takes so long before the story really kicks in that many might quit before they even get to the actual game story which is where Warframe really shines.
There is no colossal twitch presence (apart from the usual Tenno-con presentations) is because everyone interested in the game is busy playing it.
This is not the kind of game that is good for spectating, but it is awesome to play. And despite that, it manages to maintain a very healthy 10-30k daily viewers (often more especially when there's a twitch-drop going on). Other games see a big surge for a bit around release, and then it dies down when the big name streamers move on chasing the next big thing. WF is one of those games that can maintain a constant interest.
Plus it's been in the top 10 concurrent players on Steam for many years now. I'd think that speaks more to the success of the game than how many people are watching a stream.
