I heard a rumour that they are going to release Chapter 1 pretty soon (like early Summer) and will work on the next chapters using the fan feedback from the Chapter 1 like they did with Divinity Original Sin II.
I guess we may find out some more details in 4 days.

If it's not that they've had surgery for their brain damage and have fixed the dialogues in the game then i probably don't care to hear it.

I tried giving it a chance again by watching those available videos but the dialogue still doesn't sit right with me. Really does look like D:OS 2.5 or a conversion mod
1 and 2 are still amazing.

So, Swen says they're "changing the narrator". That's good.

I'm pretty sure he refers to them changing the way the story was to be told. In past tense, first person singular iirc.

Yeah, one of their gimmicks is that rather than having that hidden under the hood, they show any checks during a conversation as an actual die roll. I suspect it will quickly become annoying, given how long it takes, so hopefully you can toggle it off.

Not hiding the dice roll under the hood would only really work if your character says / does different things on failure/success.

Which is how Disco Elysium did it, and it worked quite brilliantly there. But you need good/fun fail states, so you don't feel like save scumming.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

Does anyone know at what time they are supposed to show more gameplay on 18.06?
I can't find the information anywhere, even on D&D Live's website.
It says "10:00 AM: D&D Gameplay Reveal" - so maybe is this one?

I think Larian are very good at WHAT THEY DO (Divinity OS style games).
I don't thing they are good enough YET(?) for Baldur's Gate.
