Just killed the first two colossi, fantastic game. So original.
The graphics are also fucking killer considering it's PS2, better then RE4's in my opinion.

Damn I went to my local game store today and it was sold out!!!
I have to call them tomorrow and maybe another shipment has arrived then. Damn.

yea, truly an amazing game, belonging to the ps2´s top.
the lighting and "shaders" in here just leave everything else behind. |

It makes you think, are the other developers just lazy when they create a game with mediocre graphics, or are their programmers less skilled?
For the average PS2 game, you accept it if the graphics are unimpressive. It takes a game such as this for you to really question whether it's the console that is the real limitation in these cases.

Yes I too played this last night and got to the 4th collossus! I couldnt figure him out! I know I had to go underground but I just got tired since it was 3am! Maybe I will have more success with it playing it a bit more awake later on! No spoilers from anyone! That was not a request for help! A great part of the game is finding how to bring the beasts down! It truely is an amazing game and I could quite easily rate it as one of the best and most original games I have ever played and may ever play.

Just picked it up and killed the first two colossi.
I have to agree with the reviews and you guys, I have never played a game that looks and feels like this one (I never played ICO thought).
When you put your sword in their weak spot and all the blood squirts out...Wicked

The blood is dark right, yep it gives a weird feeling when you see that amazing creature (the first one in my case) falling to the ground, I felt kind of sad for the creature.

yea its an incredible game, the atmosphere alone is something unique, you really get the feeling of a different world.
anyway have fun with the 14th colossus, its simply amazing

It wouldn't surprise me but did anyone notice that you can manipulate the camera in every cutscene? like shaking it from left to right or zooming in?

Most are. Only few are relatively small, but as said the way to beat them is harder to compensate that.

I havent played the game as much as I hoped to but I will be later on this evening. So far 3 has been my favourite. Its so awesome when he plunges the huge stone sword into the ground!

Colossus 3 was cool because of his size and weapon, and nr 5 was just awesome because

EDIT:
You should try this,it looks really cool and professional:
call Agro when he's relatively close and running towards you,run away from him and he should run past you. When he's almost next to you,jump and press R1 to grab him and have maximum speed. |
yea, there are lots of interesting moves in the game, like you can hang at the side of the horse, or stand on top of it while aiming with your bow.
sometimes when one of these birds is right above you you can jump up to hang onto it and fly away. now i cant really remember how exactly to do these moves since i ve finished the game around 4 months ago, but there are more of em. |
