It's an online retailer of trust but they don't say wich version comes out of the box. I thought all mobos tends to come with the initial day of release's BIOS instead of updated ones, or so i've been told here previously?

Some boards come with updated BIOS. Depends when they where manufactured.

Well, i'm saying the BIOS thing due to this "AGESA 1.0.0.4/5" included in them that fixes things up and speeds up the booting time...However it seems that this AGESA isn't coming for the TUF i bought.. Only 1.0.0.3 so far and well, that worries me some.

Are you sure?

That's the issue. "Depends" but we won't know until it comes

I already checked that site before and only there's a mention of AGESA 1.0.0.3ABBA for v1201, while 1404 says "PI 1.0.0.4 Patch B" but no sign of AGESA in it.

Most people on that Reddit seems to do OC to their RAMs and well, hence the issue maybe. Some said they resetted the BIOS settings to defaults and worked again (sacrificing the OC speed)...I already downloaded the latest BIOS and the LAN/Audio drivers (Not sure if the Chipset drivers will do something though) just in case..

What worries me is the "It takes 3-5 minutes to BOOT with an SSD" part regarding X570 boards mentioned at some forums... But people says to change the CSM to only UEFI (I guess i should do that, since W10 seems only UEFI?..Though i tend to have my Z170 BIOS to "Legacy and UEFI" just incase) and that AGESA helps another more lot..

My SSD is GPT right now btw and can do a disk part thing when installing W10 if required. Not sure if that's an issue or something .. I know MBR is more into W7 while GPT is for W10

However i don't know if just leaving UEFI on (without Legacy) will let the other SSD and HDD to be seen in W10's "This Computer" and stuff...Whaddya say?

PS: When i install W10 via a USB stick i tend to choose the UEFI part. I take that it'll make the X570 the same way of installing W10, right?

That reminds me i gotta install the KMS/HWID into the new mobo to work with W10..

From what I remember I had to install win10 on UEFI settings.
When I prepared the usb stick ( VIA Rufus ) the default settings was UEFI ( GPT scheme ). After that I remember to have an error but only because I changed the BIOS to legacy.
After I changed back to UEFI in BIOS everything was smooth. I'm using this installation since 13/12/2018.
It detected all my HDD ( internal and external ).
Before the last AGESA update it took around 1mn to post the BIOS, after I updated know takes around 20 seconds.

(All of this from Z170) My W10 stick, 1909, was made via Media Creation Tool, and whenever i wanted to go to the W10 installation via the USB i spam F8 then choose the Pendrive's UEFI option , then the install starts and finishes without issues.

BIOS' CSM is set to "UEFI and Legacy" by default, but W10 is installled in GPT without issues since many months ago (When W7 was about to say "goodbye", Rest in Peace) with the method mentioned above

20 seconds from the moment you push the Power button till it shows W10's login / desktop (autologin/passwordless) i take?. My Z170 takes around 27-34sec depends of how much weed the PC has smoked... (Or how many apps/WUpdates are installed)

Sorry for double post....But i'm alive...

On BIOS: BIOS to 1407 SUCCESSFUL (Boot times back to the ones i had on Z170). DOCP (XMP) DISABLED. Aura disabled. Armoury Crate auto-installation DISABLED (Heard horrors about it). RAM at 2666mhz (Max for NO OC). CSM Enabled (I heard disabling it makes the PC boot hella faster but... What about returning to the BIOS if i wanna change anything?. Though i think it was disabled to begin with, i left it like my Z170...)

The MoBo's Chipset fan, for now, didn't ramped the fuck up when covered by the GPU as many people on Reddit etc hated the noise outta it... No issues for me so far for now...

On W10: There's one thing that TERRIFIED ME...Daemon Tools. Installed as always (Without the bloatware) but whenever i wanted to mount an image it gave me a "Unknown Error 3" and almost killed me. Installed CloneDVD (The sheep one) and works...WHAT?!

The MoBo's DVD (And ASUS' site wich i've used) only shown "Chipset drivers" , LAN and Audio Drivers. Nothing about USB etc...I thought that these were required for DTools and i was already blaming the mobo...Again, CDVD and solved for now...

HWID (The W10 serial crack) didn't worked with the HWID option, but putting KMS SEEMS to have solved it...For now. Unless there was a better option?

CPU Temps are about 46-50C when set the fan to FULL SPEED in the BIOS ..Yet i don't hear any changes from it. I've made sure to follow Noctua's steps (Chromax Black 1 fan) about putting a nice dot of paste at the center but when placing the cooler it was a bit hard to screw the 2 last screws, moving the paste around but i don't hear any issues on the MoBo (Beeps). Hopefully this isn't an issue (I'm thinking of buying a 2nd Noctua fan one day incase shit gets crazy)

So far the apps i tend to use works as they should though i don't feel much differences when it comes to Photoshop CC 2017 (Less brush lag but it's still there). Haven't tested Clip Studio Paint yet (CPU focused but not sure how many cores)

The only thing left would be try some games out... THE WONDERFUL 101 is in my pending list but i might pop DOOM 2016 to try out, besides of DJMAX RESPECT V

....Ok, not sure if it's my router company or the Realtek LAN driver thing but now downloads on STEAM goes pretty high for a few seconds, only to be smashed down to almost nothing. Guess i'm fucked up on this topic now..Even with the IPv4 settings inserted.

However,on a speed test that i usually use, it shows like it's reaching the MAX out from it.. Any suggestions?

EDIT: NVM, the LAN thing is on the STEAM's game server side (DJMAX RESPECT V)... With DOOM 2016 it went 70MB/s full speed

So the only inconvenient with X570 was... Daemon Tools not working as it should, yet the Sheep app works wonders... WTF?

Also the CPU volts at the BIOS says 1.448V and like i said i haven't touched anything.50C even and even if i change the CPU Cooler's speed to Full Speed it won't change at all.. If i play DOOM 2016 it goes up to 63C and if i use Handbrake it spikes up to 84C !!!...

Did i picked the wrong cooler, or how many Cs can i lower down by buying an additional fan for the cooler (Speed, but has to be 12x12cm)?

Not sure what is happening on the picture, but your temperatures are fine considering how your case sits on the floor. Laughing

Discord shows the shot correctly but then here shows incorrectly... Meh

Anyways i wanted to ask. How many Celsius would the CPU temps drop down to if i add another 1500RPM fan to the CPU Cooler?

I know there's a Noctua special but that goes Jet speed like 2000RPM..And i already experienced that with my previous Thermaltake Frio OCK

jet speed ? my 6000 rpm self floating delta fan would like to have a word Razz

doubt the other fan will make a huge difference unless it can suck cold air in from the front using some big ass tube

Second fan will give you like 1-2C better temps, i suggest you start looking better airflow case if you want better temps, you are still below the safe limits, nothing to worry about...

Thermaltake Core V71 not having enough big ass front fans?, besides the exhaust big one at the top and the typical behind one?

Though i gotta say it's below my desk...

Hi V2.
First, nice build.
Some opinions:
- Daemon tools, has @Sin317 said, uninstall it. Win10 already do it.
- Chipset Drivers: https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/amd-socket-am4/x570 ( Asus also should have it in product page but maybe not updated ).
- Temperatures look very normal.
- The voltage in BIOS is the normal, is running at default clock. Check with Ryzen Master in windows.

I mean, the only thing that worries me now are the temps.

Again, i've followed Noctua's instructions by putting a drop of the Thermal Paste like shown, though whenever i had to screw in the 2 screws i had to lift up the cooler again a couple of times very slightly to put the screws in correctly, and very tight (Not overdoing it), yet some people says they've gotten much lower temps (Not sure if they've touched volts in the BIOS) than mine and i am not sure if the "lifting up" caused the paste to fuck up or not

I just want to make sure i am not screwing up the cooler/paste, that's all. I know 3800x resists up to 95C but my record's around 85C with Handbrake ..

85c is not 95c, its still 10c below throttle limit, in other words you are safe.

Just repaste then and don't lift it up after putting it on, since you could be creating pockets of air, though I doubt it.

Temps are still manageable though.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Just incase this weekend i'll remove the cooler, clean the base of it along the CPU one, then do the "Dot then spread" as i always tended to do for years. I'll have help this time so the sitting shouldn't be an issue... Aka "Hopefully no more Lift it off by accident" ¬¬...

Will let you know how it changed.. If it does something

EDIT: Did the spread method, but the help kinda did the same mistake as me... Still, temps are the same so..*Sigh*
